I'm a jack-of-all-trades. I am skilled in Most areas from foundation to finish. I have worked in the HVAC business as a Tin knocker and pipe fitter For over five years . I also am skilled in property maintenance landscaping and anything in between. I definitely don't know everything about everything but always get the job done with a high level of quality.

If you have a smaller pool, it’s better to use 1-inch chlorine tablets so you don’t accidentally add too much chlorine. Alternatively, you can add two to three ounces of powdered chlorine or half a gallon of liquid chlorine for every 5,000 gallons of water.

Filter balls don’t work as well as sand filters because they’re unable to handle large debris, are prone to clogging, and require frequent cleaning. While they can seem more convenient and less expensive than sand filters, most need to be removed and washed regularly, or they won’t filter well and struggle with algae and dirt. Infinity pools do require slightly more maintenance than other pools because you’ll need to constantly monitor the water level. If the water level is out of whack, it won’t correctly flow over the edge, which gives the pool its infinity look. 

That said, the rest of the maintenance is largely dependent on the type of material you choose. Concrete needs a little extra care to prevent algae growth, and you will eventually need to resurface it. Fiberglass and vinyl liners are algae-resistant but they’re not as durable.

Liquid chlorine is better for shock treatments or instances where you need to raise your chlorine levels quickly. Tablets are better for regular maintenance. Tablets take more time to dissolve but require less effort. You don’t need to measure out volume, and you can set them in a floater and let that do the work.
