My regular electrician was too busy but this was a fire hazard which demanded immediate attention. Wouldn't book with Baker's company again just because of outrageous price."

You can water plants with water softened with potassium chloride, and this type of salt may actually be a better option if you have lots of houseplants compared to water softened with sodium chloride. Too much sodium can build up in the soil, making it harder for plants to absorb the water they need.

There are a couple of similar alternatives you may consider for a sewage ejector pump, including a grinder pump or a submersible sump pump. Submersible sump pumps protect your home from flooding from outside water, though, rather than handling wastewater from inside. A grinder pump macerates, or shreds, solid waste before pumping it onward to the sewer line.
