All prices are negotiated prior to work. Any additioanl work is only performed when a change order has been agreed upon. We are profient in many facets of the construction process. Our company motto is " Making the impossible affordable". We look forward to working on your home.

"The performance of the job itself was fine; everything went well. However, 2 years after paying $700 to have my chimney repaired, the tuckpointing was already falling out and there are chunks of mortar missing already. I've called them several times, each time being told someone would call me back and the owner would call me back. The last few times I called there is just an answering machine. Pretty obvious this company doesn't plan to fix it's mistakes and too bad for me I'm basically out $700. Don't use them."

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

There are advantages and disadvantages to metal roofs in cold climates. Metal roofing stands up extremely well to harsh winters as long as it is properly insulated. Snow and ice slide right off residential metal roofs, preventing the formation of ice dams; but because of this, they may require snow guards, which prevent the ice and snow that slide off a roof from causing a sort of "mini avalanche" that can damage property and people below.

It’s not normal for a chimney to leak even a little bit during heavy rain. A chimney in good condition will keep rain from seeping into the chimney or house, so if you notice a small leak during a rainstorm, it’s time to call a pro for inspection. There could be damage to the flashing, chimney crown, or flue liner.

In many areas, chimney repair companies need to be licensed, but it depends on your state and local municipality. You can check with your local building department to see if companies need licenses, and then you can use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that the company you’re considering holds the proper license. It’s a good idea to confirm that the professional is fully insured, and you can ask about certification from organizations like the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). These certifications aren’t mandatory, but they help ensure a professional repair.

Metal roofs don’t inherently leak more than shingles, and when properly installed, they can actually offer greater protection against leaks. However, poor installation, improperly sealed fasteners, or thermal expansion issues can lead to leaks over time, so professional installation and regular maintenance are crucial.

While it’s less common than on other kinds of roofs, yes, ice dams can form on metal roofs. Metal roofs, particularly those with snow guards installed, can still accumulate ice at the roof edge, although ice dams on metal roofs are less likely to cause roof or interior damage than on traditional asphalt shingle roofs.
