"I can emphasize they are puncture, easy to understand what the problem was. They found a problem with confidence. and figured it out right away. I did not need to have replaced whole water pipe line because of them. We want to give over 5 stars if we could. Thank you so much!!!"

"We were pleased with the price and my husband said the owner was very easy to work with.  We knew this was a small job (not much money involved), and the owner came out himself to check things out and give a quote.  The bathroom is very small and hard to manuever, but we were disappointed that the workemen left scratches on doors and the wood frame.  No big deal, they can be cleaned up with a little Old English.  After the tub was installed, the area around the tub was plastered by the workmen that day and they said they were done.  Of course, since it was thick, it cracked while it dried.  But, the owner came out a day or so later and re-plastered it.  It cracked a little less during the curing time and my husband was able to fix it and repaint the bathroom.  If you don't have someone that is handy, keep this in mind.  While I love the new bathtub, there are a few concerns.  First, the scratches on the door and woodwork.  Hard to avoid with the size of this bathroom. So, that was almost understandable.   But, the men put their tools in the sink without protection.  This left surface scratches in a new sink.  While they were installing the tub, they mentioned that they would have to take out the toilet to fit it in.  Since we wanted a new toilet anyway, my husband went out and purchased a new toilet while they were working.  They installed the new toilet (rather than putting the old one back in, so it wasn't extra work), but after they did that, they stood on the brand new toilet cover with work shoes and put scratch marks on the cover!     During the last meeting with the owner, my husband showed him and he said he would bring a new toilet cover the next day.  My husband told him no rush ... but it's been about six weeks now, and we haven't heard anything.  The last thing is that while I was taking a bath, I noticed that one of the tub joints under the faucet was not caulked.  My husband did it himself. Not sure if these problems happened because it was a small job and almost a losing prop for the company.  But, I'm asked all the time for references and we (and my family) do have a lot more work we would like done.  As friendly and easy the company/owner is to work with, I can't recommend them without the caveat that you might need to have someone handy to "finish up". "

"Bellevue Builders did such an amazing job renovating my bathroom. From the day they started the job to the day they ended, all of the work and cleanup was done meticulously. I met with the owner who was so responsive and thorough — any questions I had he answered! Very professional team who not only took really good care of us but did some beautiful tile work! Above and beyond expectations. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs quality work."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Replacing a toilet typically takes two to four hours. Several factors can impact this timeline, including the condition of the old toilet, flange, flooring, and pipes. If a professional discovers issues like a cracked flange, damaged flooring, leaky pipes, or a broken wax ring, the installation will take longer. Additionally, some toilets, such as wall-mounted or in-wall-tank models, are more complex to install and may require cutting into and repairing drywall, which adds to the project time. Given the weight of toilets and the importance of proper placement, it is often best to hire a professional for the job.

The first step to clearing the air in a line is to locate the cause. This is usually a blockage in either the drain or the venting system. Once you clear the issue, flush the system by actually flushing the toilets repeatedly. This should allow the trapped air to escape, thus clearing the lines. Don’t be surprised if there is increased bubbling as the air makes its way through the system.

Basement toilets don’t always need a pump. However, it is the most common setup because plumbing systems use gravity to move waste away from the home. Basement toilets often sit below the home’s main sewage system, and installing a sewage ejector pump pushes the wastewater and sewage up to the main sewer line. Alternatively, you can use an upflush or macerator toilet that breaks down the waste and pushes it straight to the main sewer line rather than via a sewer line from the bathroom.

If you notice water coming out of the bottom of your tank or the flush handle, you obviously have a leaking tank. Water on the side of the tank can indicate cracks. Other signs include the toilet running and flushing without anyone touching the handle, needing to jiggle the handle to make the water stop after flushing, or needing to hold the handle down to empty the water tank.

Your toilet handle might not come back up if the nut is loose or the bolt threads are stripped. Try to tighten the mounting nut and wrap plumber’s tape around the handle bolt to fix stripped threads. It’s possible the handle was improperly installed. If that’s the case, you can use the instructions above to correct the handle’s position.
