  Dave came out for an estimate and gave us plenty of ideas and options. We had other estimates and this one is not the cheapest but is the one we felt most comfortable with. The work was scheduled pretty fast. Tom and his crew arrived on time every day. Throughout the project, Dave and Tom were very responsive to our questions and requests. When the work was done, they cleaned up pretty well and power washed the affected area. They came back at least once to make sure they followed up on anything that they might have missed.   Outdoor Advantage was great! They were extremely responsive and professional. We moved into our new home and needed all the above work. They came out promptly to provide a quote. Then they worked with us over a couple of months to get everything done. It was conducted over a couple of months due to cash flow considerations of ours. They could have done the entire job at once. We had a tree removed and 7 trees planted. Plus a fair amount of mulching, weeding, and over an acre of lawn mowing. Not inexpensive but competitive and worth every penny. Highly recommended and worth the time to have them evaluate your circumstances and provide an estimate.   Well, first off, I thought he might not be interested because it took a while to get his quote back, but then his quote was significantly lower that another Angie's List contractor. After reviewing the proposal carefully with him, and reading all the reviews of his company I decided to go with him. The work included installing a surface level french drain, regrading, adding soil and re-sodding about 300 sq ft of lawn. Further more, I added some additional landscaping, adding a row of seven (7) 4' skip laurel bushes along a fence line to provide a visual break into my neighbor's yard and redoing an "eyesore on the side of my house by cleaning it up and putting in 40 big bell liriope plants. This included digging the areas out, removing all debris and mulching. Weather caused us to postpone installation for a day, but they arrived early on the new day and went right to work. They finished by mid-afternoon and cleaned up and were out. The crew was friendly and professional. The work looks good so far, but it will take a bit for the plants and sod to establish, but things appear to be going nicely. I rated the professionalism down to a B because although they said that they were going to have a phone line in the yard marked by MissUtility, they did not. I had to show them approximately where the phone line was and where the water line for my sprinklers was. They were very careful in digging, but the phone line as buried deep enough that we did not encounter it. They did discover the water lines but were very careful in working around them. I expect in a month or two, the yard will look beautiful, and am confident that if there are any problems they'll come back to solve them. (I am NOT expecting any problems.   We carefully supervised the work and everything was done well. We did have to provide some reminders on a couple of things that were in the contract that were not being performed when the work was being completed, but after the onsite supervisor called the company and verified our reminders, the work was done as per the contract. We also requested additional work to be performed outside the written contract, which included an extension to the rear stone patio by having them add more pavers. The company reduced their initial work estimate to meet our price after negotiations. We are overall content with the work performed and is of high quality. In addition, the company took great care to ensure that we were happy with the finished work, which also included ensuring that the landscaping was left with good appearance. At the end of the project we had two items we wanted the company to address; 1. A rear pipe was exposed and extended too far into the grass (tripping hazard and posed difficulty when mowing lawn), the company returned to cut the pipe so that it was closer to the mulched area and not as exposed. 2. A front corner 5" is exposed and drains to the driveway. The white pipe detracts from the home appearance and we are worried that it may be an issue with the home owners association. Unfortunately, the pipe could not be moved to be buried into the ground to drain further down the driveway. The company did address this issue via correspondence to let us know that it is impossible to relocate it. We recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again for other work in the futureshow more
