"Prestige Pros handled my tree removal process seamlessly from beginning to end. They provided pictures of what the property would look like using virtual technology so I could make the most informed decision possible. Their crew was friendly, fearless (of my 50 plus foot pine tree), and professional. The cleanup process was outstanding. I highly recommend Prestige Pros for outstanding customer service."

"He is one of the best I’ve ever met in my life. He’s honest, on time and does the job very well. I appreciate his work. I’m going to keep him as my tree service man. I’m very happy that I have him. He’s so nice. He’s so knowledgeable. He would ground down the stump on the sugar maple. He knows what to do. He does a neat job. He does it very reasonably. Everything he did was good. I would have him again and again for as long as I need him."

"I received an immediate response to my telephone call. The young man who came to provide the estimate was professional and friendly. We received a very reasonable price for removing a large tree and shrubbery. The workman were very good. They removed the tree (stump and all) and the shrubbery, without damaging surrounding plants. They were also polite and professional."

"I couldn't ask for better service! A Coreas Tree Services team member contacted me within minutes of my project submission on Angi to schedule a time to stop by. The owner was on time the next morning, quoted a very reasonable price, and scheduled his crew to come out later the same day. True professionals from beginning to the end. We definitely recommend Coreas Tree Services to anyone that needs a tree removed or cut back."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Ivy eventually kills trees by restricting its growth, blocking sunlight, absorbing nutrients and water from the soil, and weakening the tree. Trees with ivy are more likely to experience diseases, pests, rot, and fungi growth. When ivy weighs down tree branches, the tree is more likely to break during a storm and cause damage.

If you’re looking to rot a tree stump fast, potassium nitrate will work far quicker than copper nails. First, drill several holes into the stump using a power drill, then pour potassium nitrate pellets into the holes. Next, add water to help the chemical absorb into the wood, thoroughly soaking the stump to ensure the pellets dissolve and spread evenly. Afterward, cover the stump with a tarp to retain moisture and block sunlight, then place mulch on top to secure it in place.

DIY pruning is possible for small trees and shrubs with basic tools. However, for larger trees, more hazardous removals, or to ensure proper pruning techniques are used, it is recommended to hire a professional for safety.

Planting trees far enough from your foundation will protect your home from root damage, but if you’re dealing with existing trees, you can still guard against roots. Root barriers form a physical boundary that will prevent roots from encroaching on your foundation and can help save you from expensive foundation repair costs.

Pruning a tree is a yearly DIY job that involves removing small dead branches, leaves, and blooms to help the tree grow bigger and stronger. You can often complete the job with basic home gardening tools. Trimming a tree, however, removes larger sections to control the direction the tree grows in and protects your home, utility wires, and yard from potentially dangerous branches.
