"Damien did an outstanding job cleaning the air ducts, furnace, and dryer vent in our home. He was prompt, professional, and fairly priced. I appreciated him explaining the process as well. We will definitely use Macks Home Services again!"

"I have mixed reviews for my dryer vent cleaning. The tech was personable and very professional and did clean the vent. I would give him 5 stars for his customer services, and for the work he actually did. However, the sales person that contacted me told me: "Not only do our technicians clean the exhaust line, but the also clean the internal components of the dryer from the lint trap to the exhaust port." The dryer still did not work properly after the cleaning and I called in an appliance technician. At the base of the lint trap was a massive clog of lint. Upon removal of that, the dryer works fine. It was apparent that the internal components were not cleaned as promised. I reached out to her with my concerns and never heard back. I have no complaints regarding the technician who came out, but am very disappointed that I was promised something else by the business manager and my complaint was never acknowledged. I will not be using them again, but if you only need the external vent cleaned, they will be fine."

"They were professional and amazing. I spoke to Ryan and he was able to quote me an amazing price and got me in the next day. They did an amazing job. Went way above and beyond expectations. I am so glad I went with them. I highly recommend these guys. They did my carpets a week ago and they still smell amazing. They were able to get every inches of my carpet and they look brand new. I could not be happier with their service. I will definitely be using their services again."

FAQs for couch cleaning service projects in Ridgely, MD

The average cost to hire a house cleaner is between $30 and $50 per hour. Costs vary depending on house size, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the type of cleaning you want. Deep cleaning will be more expensive since it requires more time and effort to move furniture and clean hard-to-reach areas compared to a standard cleaning session.

The average cost of a professional upholstery cleaning is around $175, ranging between $75 and $350. There are many cost factors to consider, including the furniture type, size, and material. Certain types of upholstery necessitate dry cleaning products or more intensive cleaning, which are more expensive. You can expect to pay $200 to $500 to clean leather and suede couches, while loveseats are less expensive at $60 to $120. Silk and leather are the most expensive materials to clean, and wool, cotton, and polyester are the least expensive.

It might be possible to wash your couch upholstery, but we don’t recommend it. Couches labeled with a “W” or “W/S” on the tag might be okay to wash gently with a couch cleaner or a homemade couch cleaning solution, but you have to be very careful not to get the padding underneath wet, as it will deteriorate and potentially ruin your couch. You should hire a professional upholstery cleaner to guarantee a safe, deep clean for your favorite furniture items.

The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.

Although tipping is not a requirement, many people tip house cleaners around 10% to 15% of the final cleaning cost. Some people tip as much as 20% or more, but it’s up to your discretion. Rather than tipping each cleaning session, you can also tip monthly or give the house cleaner a holiday bonus. There are no rules for tipping, but if your house cleaner did a great job it’s encouraged.
