"Forget Len the Plumber. Use Eric Straus instead. He is efficient, professional, and reasonably priced. Due to a knee replacement, I needed a higher toilet and a grab bar. ASAP. I called Eric in the morning. Everything was done by late afternoon. He purchased the toilet for me and took the old one to the dump. He's friendly. You won't be disappointed in him. He's a gem."
"Bill and his team did an excellent job in handling the remediation for water that got into my home. Would highly recommend them given their promptness and general assistance in getting this situation under control."
"The installation was fast and everyone I spoke with was very thorough and always willing to explain anything I had questions about. They were tidy and on time. My water feels fantastic now and I love having separate fountain with alkaline water. I'm glad to be able to give up plastic bottle thanks Orbit. It is pricey, but it's a great investment for the future. Thanks, guys!"
"We previously had work done by this company several years ago with a bathtub overlay and were completely satisfied with the results as well as the professionalism of the company and the company installer. So we felt that is we did have another job done we would use the same company. We considered a Do It Yourself project of re grouting and sealing, and was not up to the project, so we called Re.Bath and asked them to do it. The display by the salesman was done with our desires in mind and we felt very comfortable with our decision. The measurements were accurate, the product was ordered and installed on the predicted date and done in a very professional manner. While the price could have been lower, we felt everything turned out great and we would certainly consider the same company on future porjects. "
"I was looking for a company to remove the textured/popcorn ceiling throughout my entire house. George Jr. came and did an estimate. He was very punctual, professional and extremely patient with all of my questions. I must have called/emailed 10+ times with questions. He was also very accommodating with my schedule. Price was very competitive considering the amount of work and vaulted ceilings. The house was vacant so it was easier than having to work around furniture. I actually don't think it would have been possible with furniture. There was an incredible amount of dust during the work in progress. Finished work was just as I had expected. I highly recommend George and his crew and would use them again in the future. "
"We requested estimates from 2 companies, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Surfside Plumbing. Benjamin Franklin responded punctually and gave us a written estimate. We wanted to check prices so we called Surfside. It took a couple of calls, but my husband finally spoke with the owner of Surfside. He said it wasn't necessary to come out and look at the job and he quoted an hourly rate and an estimate of 1 to 3 hours to complete the job. His estimate was considerably lower than Benjamin Franklin. We told him we'd buy the sink and faucets and call to schedule an appointment. Within a week we had both. We called to schedule.
The owner answered our call after several tries to reach him and said he would call back when reached his office. No return call. After a few days we finally called and spoke to the owner. He said he would be out the next day. He came out and suggested that the sink we purchased would not work well with our silestone counter top. I agreed and we decided to buy a better quality sink. Within a week we had the new sink. Again we tried to schedule an appointment. It took about a week to finally connect with the owner. Our sink was finally installed. The men that were sent to do the work did a great job. And we saved a couple hundred dollars on installation. Even considering the problems with scheduling, I think the owner tries to accommodate customers too much, we are very happy with the work that was done. "
"Dishwasher and ceiling fan service was wonderful. Garbage disposal is on its way, the shower fixture was a little messy and have to return 3 times to fix, pray its the last time. But not Choice Warranty's fault. Alittle pricey but allows you to pay them out."

Install Garbage Disposal FAQs, answered by experts
These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. Make sure you shut the power off to the area first and check that it’s off with a voltage detector. Disconnect the main drain line and P-trap, and then disconnect the dishwasher drain line if you have one connected. You can then unscrew your garbage disposal using a disposal wrench. Just make sure you disconnect the electrical lines before removing your appliance.
Most garbage disposals have a reset button that can be triggered with a tool as simple and accessible as your index finger. That said, if you need to perform a more in-depth troubleshooting step, like manually moving the arms inside the unit or rotating the impeller plate, a hex wrench is the most common tool you’ll need. Most garbage disposals come with a hex wrench.
These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.
Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.
Continuous feed garbage disposals are the favorite model for many homeowners for a reason. As opposed to batch feed models, add food scraps to the drain whenever the disposal is running. This variety is also typically less expensive, more convenient, and easier to clean.
