We considered a Do It Yourself project of re grouting and sealing, and was not up to the project, so we called Re.Bath and asked them to do it. The display by the salesman was done with our desires in mind and we felt very comfortable with our decision. The measurements were accurate, the product was ordered and installed on the predicted date and done in a very professional manner. "Dannie came to our home in August and gave us a verbal estimate on the job; he never gave us a written estimate which I believe could have prevented the misunderstanding about what the price included. He was not able to start the job in a timely fashion because he was involved in another job and the homeowner kept adding projects which kept pushing our job back. When Dannie started the job, he re-laminated our kitchen countertop and he did an EXCELLENT job! He also installed a new stainless steel kitchen sink which turned out to be the wrong one which had been shipped by the supplier (not his fault). This complicated the whole project and ended up increasing the price...again not his fault. Dannie was pleasant and stood behind his work but I felt that he needed to be more detail oriented. I had to call his attention to several things for him to resolve them. "
"I was looking for a company to remove the textured/popcorn ceiling throughout my entire house. George Jr. came and did an estimate. He was very punctual, professional and extremely patient with all of my questions. I must have called/emailed 10+ times with questions. He was also very accommodating with my schedule. Price was very competitive considering the amount of work and vaulted ceilings. The house was vacant so it was easier than having to work around furniture. I actually don't think it would have been possible with furniture. There was an incredible amount of dust during the work in progress. Finished work was just as I had expected. "We requested estimates from 2 companies, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Surfside Plumbing. Benjamin Franklin responded punctually and gave us a written estimate. We wanted to check prices so we called Surfside. It took a couple of calls, but my husband finally spoke with the owner of Surfside. He said it wasn't necessary to come out and look at the job and he quoted an hourly rate and an estimate of 1 to 3 hours to complete the job. His estimate was considerably lower than Benjamin Franklin. We told him we'd buy the sink and faucets and call to schedule an appointment. Within a week we had both. We called to schedule.
The owner answered our call after several tries to reach him and said he would call back when reached his office. No return call. After a few days we finally called and spoke to the owner. He said he would be out the next day. He came out and suggested that the sink we purchased would not work well with our silestone counter top. I agreed and we decided to buy a better quality sink. Within a week we had the new sink. Again we tried to schedule an appointment. It took about a week to finally connect with the owner. Our sink was finally installed. The men that were sent to do the work did a great job. And we saved a couple hundred dollars on installation. Even considering the problems with scheduling, I think the owner tries to accommodate customers too much, we are very happy with the work that was done. "
