"The two installers did a wonderful job including tile placement with grout, matching wood liners to the counters, and cleaning up afterwards. They explained what they were doing and did an excellent job. The sales representative was informative, but I wanted more choices. He was patient with my decision making. We are totally happy with our kitchen floor."
"They did such an amazing job on my bathroom remodel! Everything came out even better than I hoped, and you can really see the care and detail they put into their work. The team was super easy to work with, professional, and made the whole process stress free. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!"

"It went pretty well. The removed of the old bath tub was a lot harder then they anticipated. Our house is an old modular home and the bath tub was attached differently then most. What they thought would take about 2 hours actually took about 5 hours. But they stayed with it and did an excellent job. We are extremely please with the work they did and the out come. They were very easy to work with and explained any issues or concerns very well. The show unit looks so good now we just can't get over the differences it makes."
"George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job. However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call. His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00. We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100. We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job. In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices. Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well. George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it. I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable. I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied. "
"Everything looks great! Very professional and addressed all of our concerns during installation and followed up quickly to ensure we were completely satisfied. "

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts
Here’s another instance of where the answer is you could, but that doesn’t mean you should. Yes, part of the issue is getting the drywall to stay in place on the tiles, and it’s understandable that screws will crack the tiles and cause them to crumble. That’s why it’s a much better idea to screw drywall into studs, not your porcelain or ceramic tile. But aside from issues with attaching the drywall, it’s also about ensuring a smooth application without trapping moisture inside.
Regardless of the material, basic square tiles will never go out of style. Neutral colors like white, grey, beige, and black will always be in demand in residential and commercial settings. Certain designs, like herringbone and hexagonal patterns, are considered timeless. Porcelain and porcelain-like tiles will also never go out of style.
To make a small bathroom look bigger, choose light-colored tiles in a medium- to large-format size. Lighter colors like white, cream, or light gray help open up a room, making it feel larger and more airy. While it may seem counterintuitive, small tiles can actually make a bathroom look smaller because the increased number of grout lines creates a busy pattern that visually shrinks the space. Instead, opt for medium- or large-format tiles for a more seamless, expansive appearance. For the best effect, pair your tiles with a matching or similarly colored grout to create a continuous surface that enhances the illusion of a larger area. Avoid dark colors, heavy patterns, and contrasting grout, as these can make the space feel more confined.
There are a few different tools you can use to score tiles. Manual tile cutters or tile scribes work well for scoring in straight lines. Tile nippers are one of the best options for scoring because they can make small and irregular cuts that larger tools may not be able to handle.
Yes, it’s always a good idea to keep a box or two of spare tiles after a home renovation project. Tiles can crack from improper installation, heavy foot traffic, and impact from drops. Having some extra tile on hand can make replacement fast, easy, and affordable. Plus, some manufacturers might discontinue particular colors or styles, and slight variations in tile colors between batches could mean mismatched tiles even if your product isn’t discontinued. Having a few spare tiles in storage can help avoid these issues, as well.
