"This company was fantastic to work with. They were able to take all my likes/dislikes and help me to find the perfect stone for my countertops. They had tons of different options and styles in stock to choose from so there is something for everyonesâ preferences. They were extremely time efficient in having someone come out for measurements and scheduling install. The install was extremely fast and extremely professional. The team worked quickly and the finished product looks absolutely amazing. They were great with all education for maintaining the stone once it was installed and were great in checking in with me to make sure everything was up to my expectations. I would highly recommend this company for any countertop installations."

"Everything from setting up appointment to getting the work done was a seamless process. The rep came in and finished the work the same day, had covered the area to protect from dust, and cleaned up after himself once the job was done. Results look fantastic, we had a cracked kitchen countertop and work they did is amazing, you can't tell there was any type of damage to it. Flawless work, good price and fast service. Thank you! Highly recommend!"

Stone Countertops questions, answered by experts

Mitered edge countertops are usually 2 to 2.5 inches thick. The thickness accounts for the 45-degree angle required to form a seamless corner, resulting in a dramatic and thick-edged appearance.

Yes, updating your countertops can increase your home's resale value. High-quality, stylish countertops play a significant role in a property's overall appeal and can attract potential buyers. The impact is greatest when replacing outdated, chipped, or stained countertops, or when upgrading from a low-end material like laminate to a high-end, durable one such as granite, quartz, or other natural stone. While you may not recoup the entire cost, investing in attractive, durable countertops is a smart move, as kitchen and bathroom updates often have the most significant impact on a buyer's opinion. For the best results, ensure they are professionally installed.

Installations can be done on drywall, plaster, brick, concrete, and tile, with specialized anchors or fasteners as needed.

With the cost of kitchen countertops ranging from $1,900 to $4,300, you’ll want to choose a countertop material that’s durable and cost-effective. Marble countertops will come in on the high-end, whereas corian, quartz, stainless steel, and granite will run in the middle range. Butcher block and laminate are the most budget-friendly—and many DIYers choose to install butcher block on their own because it’s one of the more accessible countertops.

Engineered stone is nonporous, unlike natural stone, and does not need to be sealed. You do not have to worry about etching or bacterial growth. It is more durable than natural stone and concrete, as well as highly heat resistant. Engineered stone is easy to clean and maintain. You can wipe it down with warm water and soap. Use a non-scratch scrub pad for stains and avoid any harsh cleaners. Engineered stone can even be eco-friendly, with some manufacturers using waste byproducts or organic resins.
