"Great service! Nir arrived on time and was very professional. My chimney box needed repair and he gave us a good price and did the work on the spot. Highly recommend! Will definitely hire again for any chimney work."
"I used them mostly every year, there's a guy that used to clean my fireplace but he's no longer part of the company so they sent out a new guy recently."
"It was a two person crew. They were polite and went right to work. The cleaning portion went off without a hitch. When it came to doing the chimney inspection, they said they couldn't do it. While my house is two stories, they considered my chimney a 3 story chimney and didn't have ladders high enough to reach. So no inspection. "
"The service was fine. The only thing is that they were really late coming. So, it was like dark when they got out of here. They left the area good when they were finished. It took them an hour-and-a-half to complete the job. They sent me a picture of the chimney. The price was great. They did show up."

"They came out and cleaned the chimney from top to bottom, the technician worked very hard and did a great job. He also informed us that our chimney liner had several cracks and the liner needed to be replaced to be completely safe. I was very happy with their thoroughness and will certainly have them back next year. "
"We had a leak in our roof during Hurricane Sandy. We called K&R Roof Masters based on Angie's List member reviews and we were not disappointed. Robert was very professional and friendly. He was also very flexible as we had to reschedule this work because of mold remediation work that we were also having done around the same time frame. After looking at the roof Robert recommended sealing the wall and siding where it met the stone on the front of the house, installing some flashing, and redirecting a couple downspouts that were on the roof. He completed this work as schedule and there were no surprises. We will definitely call Robert again if/when we having any other roofing issues. "
"l originally contacted the company approx. 2 yrs ago and was given a fair estimate. I had contacted other companies who had told me that I needed my entire roof redone at the cost of $6000! When Chico gave me a very detailed estimate of just what needed to be done, I knew that I would work with his company. During the 2yrs I would periodically receive emails asking if the repairs still need to be performed. They were always professional and polite, never pushy. When I finally came up with the money I contacted the company to have the roof re-assessed due to the time that had lapse from the original estimate. Chico came over promptly and offered to start work right then, and at the original estimate! He even offered me advice on how to have my front door properly re-hung. He had my husband come up on the roof to take a look at the work performed. I couldn't be more satisfied with this company and highly recommend them to anyone and everyone for their integrity and professionalism throughout the process."
"When they inspected my chimney they discovered that my chimney was was never rebuilt correctly, they took pictures that showed mortar was only partially applied and there were cracks . They filled in and sealed what was needed. They also advised me to have my chimney cleaned after burning a cord of word. They offered a warranty on their work and will keep a record of what was done with the pictures. I was pleased especially after I have had more the a few companies clean my chimney and even had one iinstall an insert and no one ever mentioned the condition of my chimney. "
"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
Smooth galvanized metal ducting is best and safest for venting a hood range. It’s best to avoid flexible and corrugated types of ducting, as these options don’t provide ample airflow and may not meet local code. For specific advice on which type of duct might be best for your kitchen, reach out to a range hood installation professional.
No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.
Regular cleaning of filters and checking ducting ensures effective operation.
Ensures safe electrical connections and proper venting, improving kitchen air quality.
You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.
