"We deliberately waited to write this review to make sure that the waterproofing John and his team produced in our basement was reliable and effective, and it is crystal clear that they delivered. We had underpinning, waterproofing, wrapping, and structural modifications done to our basement by Brothers and we simply could not be more pleased with the result. We have experienced multiple torrential rains, heavy snows, anything nature could throw at the basement and the space has remained bone dry, and we are at the bottom of a hill, no less. Aside from the product itself, which I could not recommend more, Johns team was punctual, communicative, and fun to work with. They always let us ask questions and explained what was happening each day so we werent caught off guard. They kept the space clean throughout the project and washed everything off thoroughly after the final work was completed. They were honestly a fantastic group of guys to work with. John, himself, is commendable as a businessman and a contractor. We received quotes from what seemed like a rotating door of BS artists who told us they could do the work cheaply or execute less robust solutions for the problem, yet all told us to keep up to 20% extra in reserve for surprise costs (not welcome news when you are talking multiple tens of thousands of dollars). But, while John is an excellent salesman, he cut to the chase, spoke honestly and knowledgeably about the craft, and did everything in his power to keep the budget to the contracted price. He maintained communication throughout the project and would answer texts and calls any time, day or night. In summary, waterproofing is a dirty business. There are a lot of con artists out there, and our house had even been waterproofed by one of those con artists before we bought it. Brothers Waterproofing is the polar opposite. "NV Waterproofing polyjacked my driveway and sidewalk. The initial quote by Evan was thorough and professional - he spent a good amount of time answering all my questions as well. Once I was scheduled, Dillon was on time and knowledgeable about the work to be done. He did a fantastic job and was patient with me while I asked questions along the way. The weather turned to storms a little earlier than planned, so we had to schedule another day for him to come out and seal the driveway. On the rescheduled day, he came back out and sealed, but then there was a small issue with the joint compound refills. We scheduled another day for the project to be completed and third time is the charm. He finished the work and it looks great. There were a couple small issues with getting back on the schedule (communication with the front office, aligning dates, but it was resolved quickly - just needed to continue following up). Everyone I interacted with at NV was friendly and professional - genuinely"

Their price was the best of 5 quotes I received and so the value was high. The only thing that was not perfect was that communication was slow, sometimes they did not respond to texts, but they were good when they responded, and they showed up on time. "I delayed having my beautiful lawn ripped up until after the growing season in order to replace my 73 year old water service line. After Doug McLendon came by for the estimate he assured me that when they completed the work I would hardly notice where they dug, which I was delighted to discover was accurate. During the estimate Doug suggested that they run the water service line diagonally under my lawn, so that it entered my basement in the laundry room where all the rest of the plumbing was and not 30 feet away on the other side of the basement, Doug and his team (Rafael, Garrett and Chad) arrived at 8 am sharp and by 9:30 am the horizonal drill head penetrated the cinderblock wall behind my washing machine. Over the next few hours they tied in this service line with the rest of the house plumbing and enabled me to use my plumbing until they returned the next morning for the WSSC inspection and backfill. Rafael, Garrett and Chad were polite, communicative and very hard working. Although the cost is somewhat high, I would highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Trenchless if you need to replace a water service or sewer line, but do not want to wait a few years for your lawn to grow back in,"
