Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak. I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list. I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting. I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere. George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.
In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met. It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job. I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

Every little question, clarification, issue, and request that we made to them was truly completed to perfection. They did a great job. Also we got a superior value. Other siding companies that we got quotes from had quoted us a higher price, without including our other exterior needs. (C3 fixed an issue with our gutters, the screen on our porch, the trim on our garage...) C3 did it all. We got a great value. "Rep showed up early which was good. But after 3 hour dog and pony show that I had to call an end to. Initially I told the company was looking for siding first, patio door next and if $ left over or package deal replace windows. When rep showed up, first thing I said was my priorities (siding, door, windows). 2 hours into presentation - we really don't do siding we have a "sister" company that if you do the windows/door you will get a customer discount. He wanted to sell me windows/door, completely missed point re: siding and when I kept bringing that up, back to the windows. Then when I finally wanted an estimate, wrote some figures on folded piece of paper which he took with him. 24 hours later still haven't received any written estimates."
"Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."
