I was stunned that professionals would try to pass that off as finished. My only thought is that they are massively overbooked and rushed the job. That's the way of the world I guess. "George's Paining, Inc. sent 3 workers and they arrived 15 minutes early.  I saw them out the window but they did not come in until 7am when they were suppose to.  That was nice.  They immediately layed down covering for the floor and then started to work.  The wall paper removal would have taken me weeks but they got it all done in half a day and then they painted the walls and stairway and ceiling. The entire job took 8 hours.  Everyone was very polite and they cleaned up everything.  You would never know they entered your house with paint.  It was spotless. I would recommend them to anyone.
