"The clicking stopped working on my gas stover burners and my oven wasn’t turning on. Bill called me and walked me through easy troubleshooting tasks to figure out and resolve the problem. The electric outlet my stove and over were plugged into stopped working. Easily plugged them into a working electrical outlet and stove and oven worked perfectly. I recommend 100%. Wonderful service. Professional, polite, patient, and practical effective results."

Small jobs welcome

"Jamie is a 5-star professional and by far the best. Very knowledgeable. I needed gas cook top and electric double oven wall unit installed. He was the first to call and had the best price. He texted to confirm his appointment the day before the job. He arrived on time and did the job expertly. He did a through system check and cleaned up after. Even stacked the boxes for recycling. I recommend him without any hesitation."

Gas Grill Installation FAQs, answered by experts

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.
