In the process of installing my new sump pump, back-up sump pump, and sump pump alarm system, it was determined that a new dedicated outlet could not be created due to my existing electrical panel being too small. Thus, I needed to get an electrical panel upgrade. Through JES Foundation, a date and time was arranged to have my new electrical panel upgrade installed. The lead Root electrician Andrew, and his assistant Andy, dd a terrific job installing the new upgraded electric panel. They were both very friendly, efficient, and professional. Andrew afterwards walked me through everything that was done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up afterwards very well. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. "The work was messy but The crew was very hard working. The jackhammer hit a pipe under our sink. They came back to fix that. While the amount of water was drastically reduced in our basement, I will never feel secure enough to finish it. They have returned 4-5 times to troubleshoot the problem because their service has a lifetime guarantee. The last time they came (2 years after original job) they added another sump pump and redug one of the ditches. It seems to have helped but I still see a very small amount of water seeping through a few cracks in the floor. With two small kids in the house, it's exhausting to keep having service people in and out of your house. I'm not happy it took so many visits, but I think overall that they were fairly quick in responding to my calls and getting out to our house."

"Dannie came to our home in August and gave us a verbal estimate on the job; he never gave us a written estimate which I believe could have prevented the misunderstanding about what the price included. He was not able to start the job in a timely fashion because he was involved in another job and the homeowner kept adding projects which kept pushing our job back. When Dannie started the job, he re-laminated our kitchen countertop and he did an EXCELLENT job! He also installed a new stainless steel kitchen sink which turned out to be the wrong one which had been shipped by the supplier (not his fault). This complicated the whole project and ended up increasing the price...again not his fault. Dannie was pleasant and stood behind his work but I felt that he needed to be more detail oriented. I had to call his attention to several things for him to resolve them.

"Called in claim on 6/18; tech assigned on 6 /19; so far so good. Claim was for failed well pump with NO water to my home with two disabled seniors. Due to heavy workload and no extra pay on weekends the tech came for diagnostics 4 days later. He verified the failed pump and tried to purchase one at Home Depot. None in stock, had to be ordered. Pump came in on 6/30 and tech arrived today, 7/1, and expertly installed the new pump. Choice has a $ 500 limit on well repair, which is 1/3 of a typical bill. That dollar cap is riduculous. On a positive note, C-Force provides expert work for Choice and would be my choice for any future work."
