After taking several estimates from the top-rated Angie's listed contractors in my area, I decided to go with George's Painting based not only on price(his estimate was about the median of all) but based on the very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable Jorge. He came onsite to do the estimate, and made me feel very confident in his crew's ability to do the job.
He impressed me with his knowledge of the process of cleaning and staining fences and decks.  Every question I had for him, he patiently answered. His group also did some minor carpentry work--replacing damaged fence boards and 4x4 deck posts-- Both performed to perfection. Jorge also stood out by mentioning that he preferred to use premium products so the job would last.
His crew was onsite promptly when promised (8:30 meant 8:30, not sometime around 10) Each crew member was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and did an excellent job.
Any time I had to contact Jorge (as we were working on the final scope of work, etc..) he responded in a VERY timely manner.
The end product is the BEST looking back yard in my town-home area.

"I used Surfside Plumbing and Paul Miller to install a 50-gallon water heater earlier in the summer. Since I was pleased with his work on the water heater, I hired Surfside Plumbing, again, to remove and replace two old, original toilets. Paul and his assistant arrived on-time with the new toilets. Paul and his assistant do all the manual labor, with Paul doing most of the "heavy lifting." They worked quickly and efficiently, and ensured that my place was clean at the end of the installation. I waited to file this report to make sure the toilets remained in good working order for a few months, which they are. I believe Paul and Surfside Plumbing are very competent, and give you a fair price for their work. If you qualify, make sure you ask Paul for a senior discount. I plan on using Surfside Plumbing whenever I need plumbing work in Ocean City, Maryland."

"He did a real good job of cleaning up. He has a helper and he always works with him. He does not put him on the job and come back and check later. He did a good job and he was supposed to give me an estimate on repairing of the wall. He was honest and hardworking and that is why i went with me. I am concerned about matching colors on my roof and he paid details to that. My brother said however they had not fill up a couple of ports on the roof. He thought they over looked it other than that he did a good job."
