"Order arrived quickly - all in good condition. Have been using them for quite a while now. I love that the pieces lock together magnetically - so no sliding around. You can choose your colors: top and bottom. You do the measuring - they have instructions on how to do that - and it is very simple. Their order department was very accommodating when I called. Would definitely order from them."

"We had 6 chairs reupholstered and repaired. Some of the chairs were in really bad shape and 3 of the chairs were not even able to be sat in. Mr. Kim did a fantastic job putting the chairs back together and reupholstering them. Now I will have my dining room set for a very long time."

"Wilson and his crew are amazing! They fixed an armoire door (antique French, so no hinges) when no one else was able to do so, and restored its veneer and cleaned the glass on the doors which had 200 years of mineral deposits. Next, they reupholstered a barrel chair, doing a beautiful job; it looks better than when I first bought it. Wilson has over 40 years of restoration experience with the Catholic Church in Italy and Ecuador, and it shows. He is also very personable and diligent when informing his customers of their job status. I highly recommend d them."

"Royston and his team provide professional service AND incredible workmanship. I entrusted him with a piece of furniture that has been in my family since the late 1800s, and he not only completely recontructed the interior, but made the exterior look better than it ever has."

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

In Clinton, it’s time to consider upholstering if you notice fabric that’s faded, torn, or feels damp due to local humidity. Sagging cushions, persistent odors, or visible mold are also signs. If your furniture is over a decade old or doesn’t fit your current style, reupholstering can refresh your space and help protect against Maryland’s seasonal moisture and temperature changes.

Helpful?

In Clinton, be wary of quotes that lack detailed breakdowns or seem unusually low, as these may indicate hidden costs or subpar materials. Avoid professionals who can’t provide local references or fabric samples suitable for Maryland’s humidity. Watch for vague timelines, no written warranty, or reluctance to explain how they address moisture issues common in Clinton homes.

Helpful?

Clinton homeowners should inspect upholstery each spring for moisture buildup after damp winters and check for sun fading during hot, humid summers. Rotate cushions monthly to prevent uneven wear, and address pet hair or spills promptly. Before fall, apply fabric protectants to guard against winter humidity. Regular vacuuming and spot cleaning help maintain furniture in Clinton’s variable climate year-round.

Helpful?

After upholstering in Clinton, allow new fabrics to air out and avoid heavy use for several days. Take photos for your records, check all moving parts, and set a cleaning schedule. Use a dehumidifier during humid months to prevent mold, keep furniture away from direct sunlight, and plan for annual professional cleanings to maintain your upholstery’s look and durability in Clinton’s climate.

Helpful?

Quality upholstering in Clinton shows in tight seams, smooth and even fabric, and cushions that feel supportive. Patterns should match at seams, and all trim or buttons should be securely attached. The furniture should feel sturdy, with no squeaks or sagging. Materials should be chosen to withstand Clinton’s humidity, and you should receive clear care instructions and a tidy workspace after completion.
