The prep they did was superb, cleaning off mildew, power washing, scraping and sanding loose paint and caulking areas which needed it to prevent rot. Bare areas were primed with an oil primer and close attention was paid to detail which is mandatory for older homes. The painters were friendly, and courteous and checked in frequently to make sure we were happy with how the job was proceeding. "Cobra Painting was very professional. We had a quote from another person who had done work for us before but had to drop out. I contacted Ron from from Cobra Painting and he and Larry came over the next day a Friday, to see the the room and received a quote as promised, on Monday. We, accepted and they came that Friday and completed the job in one day. They caulked both windows put made the base board flush with the wall that was to be papered. The also called all the nail holes in the wood work and sanded. They did a great job putting up the wallpaper and the painting. I am very particular about pattern matching and the wallpaper looks great. The cleaned up after themselves and left the floor cleaner than the found it."

"The job went very well.  Celso was very responsive to our questions and was able to schedule a crew to paint our house within a couple of weeks of providing an estimate.  The job took just over a week (2200 sq foot colonial) and everything looks fantastic.  He was very diligent about following up with us for a final review of the work.  
Celso and his team had two years earlier stripped the interior of wallpaper and painted every room in the house and that job has held up very well.

"Last year we hired Empire to paint our three-story Victorian home. Bruno and his competent helpers did an excellent job. The Old Lady looks spectacular. Their attention to detail, their cleanliness and, most important, their good nature made working with them a pleasure. We hired them this year to fix/paint three ceilings that have the original 150 year old plaster, which they did impeccably and with ease. Next up is painting our garage this spring. We have nothing but good things to say about this company and its crew."

"Roldolfo responded very quickly and was able to accommodate our immediate timeline. He was always on time, very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. His skim-coating around two newly installed windows was terrific, and he was kind enough to repair a few additional anchor holes we added after he had begun. That being said, my husband and I fixed several deficiencies with the painting we only noticed after he had left. In a few places, it looked like only one coat of paint was used on the walls and the trim, as a few spotty areas still showed some of the plain white primer underneath – as if the rollers were not sufficiently loaded with paint. It produced a slightly splotchy, uneven appearance close up. We touched up some drips on the radiators too. Once we added another coat of paint ourselves, in specific places, it looks beautiful. My husband and I wanted the job finished ASAP so we could put all the furniture back, so we did it ourselves...although based on his responsiveness Rodolfo would likely have offered to fix the problem areas if we had requested it. Personally I would not hire them again, but if you need a job done very quickly, he’s capable."
