"I recently had the pleasure of working with Bay State Remodeling for a project at my residence. The project was adding an office, finishing the space above my garage as well as adding a mudroom. The project was started by another contractor who, after finishing approximately a third of the job, disappeared and would not communicate with me. Worse they had left a very large mess of construction debris in my yard. I reached out to several contractors to attempt to get the project finished. Upon hearing the project was already started by another contractor, most of the new contractors were not interested in engaging in the work. Bay State stepped up and immediately helped me feel at ease that the project was now in the hands of true professionals. Upon reviewing the prior contractors work they discovered several issues and explained to me my options. Jamie was instrumental in the initial onboarding of the project and assisted me with picking finishes. Andreina was my contact throughout the project and kept me informed on progress and what work was scheduled in the coming week. Marcio was frequently on site and was extremely helpful in explaining my options throughout the project and sharing his expertise from what he had seen on other projects. They were also very helpful in spotting small issues where some finished work could be improved and quickly brought the team back on site to address. All of the workers that were on site were professional and despite this being a multi-month engagement, the disruption was kept to a minimum for my family. The professionalism of the Bay State team was exemplary, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future."

We were hesitant on what shade of Blue to paint our house and Al went out and bought 5 samples for us and also gave his insight to make sure we were confident in our choice. "Ellen was wonderful. As a new and first time homeowner I was overwhelmed with what colors to choose for multiple rooms in our house. Ellen met with me to go over options and made suggestions that she thought would work in the rooms, she then provided me with real paint samples, where I could see what the paint actually looked like instead of just the little tiny swatch you get at the store. They were large adhesive pieces that I could hang up, move around and really decided what worked best. She also suggested the color of my daughter's nursery and it is by far my favorite room in the house. We also needed wallpaper removed in two different rooms, and this was done beautifully. During the whole process we were also moving our furniture in, which was not easy but Ellen and her team handled the craziness wonderfully. We had a living room, den, dining room, 4 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom painted, wallpaper removed in 2 rooms, 4 closets, doors, and trim all painted and the work was done in a week! I was incredibly happy with the work Ellen and her team did and will definitely hire her again when we need a few more rooms completed."

"The loveseat looks and feels better than anticipated. Included in price was refinishing wood, regluing, retying springs etc. Comprehensive restoration. Great workmanship. High standards. Great to deal with. Clear communication. As far as fabric goes, you can choose from their somewhat limited selection, or go elsewhere to purchase your fabric and bring to them. No problems either way. Will go to them for future reupholstery jobs. Highly recommend."

"We hired MPP to paint our newly constructed porch. Rafael was responsive to my initial request and I thought the price was very fair after getting 3-4 other quotes. The crew came as scheduled and did an amazing job. I was nervous about the paint job since it is a brand new porch, but MPP exceeded expectations. In fact, they did such a good job that we had them back to scrape and plaster over some popcorn ceiling in our living room. Not surprisingly, they did a great job with that too.
