"Called On top roofing for an estimate, it took several weeks to get back to us, got the estimate and agreed to have the work done. A few guy showed up one day and started working, we were not notified they were coming to work,good thing we were here that day. They did the job and left without ever communicating with us about the work. We did a walk around and discovered that some of the work was not completed. So called the company back and the owner came out to look at the job, he said it would be about another $100. To complete. We were not happy because this was supposed to be in the estimate we agreed on. The workers show up again unannounced and did the job. We then received a bill for $200. More, again this was not what was agreed upon when talking to owner. We were hoping to form a relationship with this company for future work, but that's not going to happen, there was no communication and even with a written contract they will somehow charge you more than agreed on."

This company has no business calling themselves professionals. The paint job they rushed through started peeling within days — not months, not weeks, days. Their siding work was just as bad: they dumped the old siding all over our lawn, killed most of our grass, and then acted like it wasn’t their responsibility. We had to beg them to come back just to clean up their own mess. When it came time to actually finish the job, they offered one ridiculous excuse after another — locked keys, injuries, “other jobs” they chose to prioritize instead of ours. Finally, when the owner begrudgingly returned, he tried to shake us down for more money before doing the work we already paid for. That second attempt was just as careless and pathetic as the first, with peeling paint, visible damage to our siding, and yet another pile of unused materials they dumped on our property for us to pay to remove. Chillins Painting & Remodeling is everything you hope to avoid when hiring a contractor: sloppy, dishonest, condescending, and utterly incompetent. They cut corners at every step, treat their customers with disdain, and leave your property in worse condition than when they started. This company is a scam dressed up as a contractor. If you care about your home, your money, or your sanity, stay far, far away from Chillins Painting & Remodeling. They are a complete embarrassment to their trade."

"Pushy sales. Started off high, reduced the price. Sales guy demanded to leave with a competitors written quote in order to obtain his lower cost ?! I then received a follow up quote regarding a "promotional discount". I said, great please forward me an updated price. I was told this couldn't happen unless the sales guy could come back, clearly it was all BS to simply get me in front of him again for another 2 hours to be pressured into buying. The girl on the phone continuously spoke over me, would not accept the word "NO" to the visit. In the end I had to hang up. This kind of tactic is not good for any customer, it's bullsh*t. So unless you're a fan of what I see as very manipulative behavior and poor sales ethics RUN, do not Walk away...RUN."
