The fellow who came out was only interested in selling me insulation for the walls, whereas I made clear that my main interest was in roof maintenance and getting his expertise on why an essentially new roof had a couple of small leaks; I had hoped he might either be able to repair them or suggest what the underlying cause(s) might be. He spent a few minutes on one part of the roof, put some caulk around a leaking skylight, and said he would have the appropriate division of his company call me. He did not address the other leak. He was not knowledgeable about roofs, and the only call I got from the company was asking if I wanted to set up an appointment to insulate the walls of my older house. This turned out not to be a "deal" at all; the guy they sent was nice enough and had a helpful attitude, but in the end did not really listen to me (or his associates did not hear it if he conveyed what I wanted). He was clearly sent to make a sale on insulation. While I did consider insulating a few of the outer walls based on his pitch, in the end it was too expensive and I was not impressed with his/the company's lack of serious consideration of the roof issues I was having."

"I sent an email to Bennett Painting and received a phone call within an hour. They came out to look at the many different jobs that I needed done the next day and started the following Monday. I needed a couple of rooms painted, skylight repaired and a million and one other small jobs done in the house before I could really move my belongings in. They took care of everything I needed done, always gave an accurate estimate before any work was completed and were extremely professional the entire time they were working for us. I never felt that they were trying to jack up the price and in fact saved me money on a number of projects that they completed. They were very friendly, quick and competent at all tasks and actually did more work then they were paid to do. Anything that didn't look right to them they would fix for me with no charge. I felt completely comfortable leaving them in my home without supervision and they were there every day. I'm already planning my next list of small things I need them to do now and plan to call them to completely renovate my attic area in a few months. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs painting or just general work done. They can do everything!"
