Putting a roof on can be a stressful process, never mind an expensive project. While Waterman was not the cheapest contractor I interviewed, they took the time to go over all aspects of the job, in detail, inspected attic and suggested moving the vents to the roof instead of the side of the house for better ventilation of the bathrooms and dryer. They also performed minor wood repair on the trim, using PVC boards instead of wood. Perfect fit and finish. Rerouted some of the downspouts as well. They registered the warranty with the roofing manufacturer as well. Very efficient installation. Crew worked well and fast without appearing to actually rush. They were just very efficient with their time and skill. There was a company rep there all day to keep the project on track. Only downside is, they were very busy, and our install date ended up being a bit longer than we expected. When the day came, they did a great job. The cleanup, the worst part of any roofing job, was done very well. We did, since the job, find a few nails on the ground. However, overall, the property was well respected and not damaged otherwise.

Get it in writing. Get it in writing. I canâ t believe at 70 years old I didnâ t get it in writing. Shame on me. From working with the ladies in the office, working with the salesman Andy and project manager I couldnâ t be happier. The work completed was outstanding, the quality of work was outstanding. I would and still recommend Waterman roofing for your roofing needs. The problem to be is my garage had a cupola on it, Andy and the project manager said they will install it when it arrives, unfortunately due to COVID the cupola arrived after the job was completed. Because of the time lapse I offered to pay for the install which would be 2X the cost I had paid for the cupola. This is all my fault. I should had put it in writing . Once again I highly recommend Andy and the employees at Waterman roofing.

My neighbor had Waterman put a new roof on their house. I was able to watch it being done from my window. I did not see any of the workman take a break during the entire job. They came early, finished by about 1:00, cleaned up everything, and generally did a super job. I wrote down the name of the company and telephone number from the sign that was left on the the lawn. A short time after the roof was done, another neighbor happened to ask me if I knew anyone who did roofing. I told them about Watermark, and they hired them and were very satisfied. When the time came for me to need a roof, I hired Waterman. The man that came to my house helped me pick out a color that was similar to what I had.The shingles were put on in a weave pattern. The color and the weave is beautiful. They sent a big crew and the work got done quickly. The also did my shed to match the house, they fixed my chimney, and put in a fan from my bathroom to the outside that never got done when I had a new bathroom done. They checked my attic for mold since the bathroom. fan only went to the attic. I am extremely satisfied with the work and how nice everyone was, including the lady in the office. Project: Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof My roof was over 30 years old so I went about obtaining 7 estimates from A+ rated companies. Waterman Building & Remodeling was not the lowest, but Andy Cannon, the rep, did an extraordinary job. He arrived on time, performed a thorough and professional examination of the roof, and gave me a confident explanation (not overkill like a few and not too little like some others) without trying to offer "special deals" for signing immediately or doing the company's advertising for a few weeks. He even suggested that I wait until spring, when the weather is warmer, to do the job to insure that the adhesive would seal properly, but we have been having a pretty warm winter and I wanted it done ahead of any future storms. Kelley in the office was able to schedule me within a week of my signing the contract. I liked that the job could be accomplished in one day and the foreman brought his own dumpster on wheels that did not have to be parked for days in my driveway. It was removed as soon as the crew completed their work. I liked that the crew arrived promptly when they said they would and included a woman. There was a mutual sense of trust in that they only asked for a $200 deposit (to cover the permit cost) and sent the invoice (which was for only $550 above the original estimate once they found they had to replace 8 rotten boards and some aluminum) to be paid only after the job was completed. They removed antiquated vent caps and installed newer, more aesthetic venting and they were able to remove and reattach my retractable deck awning. The roof color is beautiful and the Owens Corning Asphalt shingles are guaranteed for 50 years. Most important, the sign of an excellent company is when they go above and beyond: during the banging on the top of the roof, my wobbly glass kitchen light fixture fell and shattered. Andy came with me to Home Depot to help me select a new fixture, which he paid for and installed and then he also tightened the doors on a couple of my kitchen cabinets and fixed the hinge on my storm door! As a 67-yr-old widow, this was much appreciated. I can see how this company earned its Platinum Preferred rating.

All of Waterman's employees are outstanding. From Kelley in the office, Andy the company representative, Bob the job manager and his crew. Maria and her co-worker were very impressive. They both have incredible strength and endurance. The guys worked hard and fast. Each of them knew their role. It was like watching a symphony. All were polite and professional. I would strongly recommend them.
