They decided to redo part of the patio because the base coat didn't adhere properly -- they did this without being asked. Overall, they did a very good job; a little disappointed that they couldn't level minor (less than 1/4") depressions in the concrete where water puddles after it rains, but they told me at the outset that they couldn't do that.
