A representative came to our house to explain all the different products as well as pricing and timing. I had reached out to 2 other companies before hand but was not comfortable their high pressure selling. AJ was very patient with us regarding our timing and budget. I received an estimate on the spot and was able to take my time to review and get back to them. We scheduled the work for May and was able to have 7 Windows removed and replaced in only a few hours. "My kitchen and bathroom renovations are in process. United Home Solutions was willing to step into renovations in process when the first contractor could not continue. The carpentry team is well along with installation of cabinets, trim and baseboards and will build custom shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. They worked with me to choose trim compatible with original trim in my 1860 clapboard home and it looks great! The board and plaster team closed up the remaining spaces with smooth walls. The countertop team and painter have been scheduled. These are good people to work with on a project that has endless decisions in my older home as they discuss the possibilities and know how to implement decisions reached."

"I am pleased to submit a positive report for Conway General Contracting. Dan and Chris did a couple of small jobs in my condo unit and some much larger jobs for the 5 unit brownstone I own a unit in. In my unit, they replaced a track light and repaired my bathroom sink. I'm so happy to have both of these problems solved!! The larger jobs included replacing a very warped, rusted, and worn basement door, installing several outdoor lights, and some masonry repair. I think their prices are fair and the work is very good. I also appreciate that they will give options re: proposed repairs. It's nice to feel as if you can choose how and what work is to be done. "Company did a good job last summer with 3 bay windows, so I called them back when the rest of the windows in the house needed to be replaced. On the initial visit, I told the rep that I wanted the same windows as last year. He quickly found the job order and picked up the details of the window make/model/etc without any need for me to reinvent the order. The company had the opportunity to try to upsell me, as I asked them about replacement of the skylight in the bathroom. Refreshingly, they declined to do so and told me that it would be much better to wait until we needed to get the roof re-done, and to do the window at that time. As before, the first guy clearly explained the process: guy 1 to take the order and measure the windows, later follow-up visit from guy 2 to remeasure all the windows carefully before ordering their construction, and then a couple of months later, a follow-up call from their HQ to schedule the install. He gave me an approximate window for this scheduling call. It was a pretty broad time-frame because there had been an unusually large number of people needing custom windows. As before, everything went off exactly as the rep indicated. The install team showed up within a half-hour of the estimated time, and installed 11 windows without taking a break. They removed every scrap of rubbish, vacuumed thoroughly, and left the place as clean as it was when they arrived."
