"We hired Bob Phalan to replace the surrounding trim after we had installed new garage doors. He estimated 1½ days. But upon removal of the exist aluminum siding, structural damage including carpenter ant damage and a rusted-cracked lally column were discovered. Bob made required repairs replacing 2x4s, the lally column, plywood, insulation, wall board, and plastering. Then he was able to begin work on the vinyl trim. We showed Bob a photo of the “look” we wanted to achieve and he achieved it perfectly. He was at our home for 3 very long days, the cost of his work was very reasonable."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. "A new doorknob and lockset was ordered and was supposed to be included with the installation but after the door was installed it was discovered that no doorknob was with the new door. The installer had to go buy the doorknob and return to complete the installation which may have caused him to rush the job because the storm door was not replaced properly . I had to wait about almost a week for the installer to return and fix the problem. I then discovered that the entrance door was also sticking but I did not report this to the company because at this point I was just disgusted not only with the installation but also with the flimsy quality of the steel door which is a thin gauge of steel, very lightweight and very easily dented. This was one of Angie's Super deals that I had paid in advance for without ever checking the quality of the door first. I will never pay up front for any service again.

I have had the same company install all mu home's replacement windows about 7 years ago and I was so completely satisfied that I guess my expectations were too high for the same result with a replacement door.

"My kitchen and bathroom renovations are in process. United Home Solutions was willing to step into renovations in process when the first contractor could not continue. The carpentry team is well along with installation of cabinets, trim and baseboards and will build custom shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. They worked with me to choose trim compatible with original trim in my 1860 clapboard home and it looks great! The board and plaster team closed up the remaining spaces with smooth walls. The countertop team and painter have been scheduled. These are good people to work with on a project that has endless decisions in my older home as they discuss the possibilities and know how to implement decisions reached."
