"Reached out to get our roof replaced after some storm damage earlier this year and Dan Casieri got back to me immediately and was able to fit us into their schedule quickly! Dan and his son James came by for an estimate and surprisingly two days later their team came to replace our roof. Took them two days to complete both sides of the house. Highly recommend! Will be using them for other repairs soon."

"Mike and his crew do excellent work .I hired them to replace a kitchen window and a sliding door. We were so pleased with the work that we had them re-side the back of the house replace the hatchway ,and replace all the corner boards with azek trim. The crew are polite and neat always made sure to clean up at the end of each day. They are true craftsman . Mike is very good at keeping us informed about the job and start times . His quotes are fair and I always received them within 24hrs. Mike is very good at communicating with the customer ....no Cape Cod callbacks with this guy. Would highly recommend Mike and the crew and look forward to working with them again Tom And Sue Forestdale"

"Highly recommended. Jose and Cesar were great. They were reliable and their work was excellent. They completely remodeled our condo including 4 bathrooms, floors, fireplace/hearth, etc. It was a big job and they worked with us to make sure everything came out exactly the way we wanted. The cost was very reasonable."

Storm Shelters questions, answered by experts

It’s better to build a garage than buy and install a prefabricated one. You can save money by purchasing a prefabricated metal garage kit for between $4,000 and $11,000. However, this does not include the price of labor and permits, which can account for more than half of the project cost. Building a new garage over buying a prefab garage will add more value to your home and will last longer, so it’s more cost-effective over time to build a new garage.

A storm shelter's size depends on the number of people who will use it and the types of storms it provides protection from. Tornadoes typically only last a few minutes, so you don't need to spend very long in the shelter when one passes by. You'll want a tornado shelter that's big enough to provide 5 square feet of space per person.

Hurricanes usually last much longer than tornadoes, so you may find yourself in the shelter for hours, not minutes, if you’re facing one. If you're installing a hurricane shelter, you'll need at least 7 square feet per person.

In addition to overseeing new home builds, construction managers work on large renovations and major remodels. For example, they may work with designers and oversee the construction of a finished basement, kitchen renovation, or a home addition. They may also oversee large-scale remodels, such as the update of a historic home. Construction managers step into small projects for more specific assistance, such as building budgets and compiling the team.

Whether pole barn posts should be set in concrete depends on the soil surrounding your home. If your soil is compact and digging conditions are agreeable, then setting pole barn posts in concrete is an ideal option.

Several companies rent out storage pods for moving, including PODS, UHaul, UPack, and 1-800-PACK-RAT. Compare moving pods vs. trucks to decide the best option for your move, then shop around to find the best deal for the size container you need.
