"We noticed a slight leak around the base of the main-bath toilet, so we called a few plumbers. Aqua was the only one that had a live person answer the phone. Megan from Aqua took down the information on our plumbing issue and indicated a plumber could come out first thing the next morning. Tyler, the plumber from Aqua, called us first thing that morning to say he was on his way. He arrived shortly after with his assistant, and he replaced the toilet wax wing with two rings. We also asked him to check the slow-draining sink in the main bath, which he snaked. He then made sure both the toilet and sink drain were working well. Megan from the office left a voicemail the other morning to check on things. The job went well from Megan's scheduling and "after-care" call to Tyler's work."

In most cases, drain cleaners will not clear a clogged sewer line, and they’re likely to damage your plumbing. Sewer lines are several inches wide, meaning any material that clogs it will need to be large. Drain cleaner can work on small clogs, but it usually won’t clear a larger one in a sewer main. It may be flush with the ground or slightly elevated, making it distinguishable from other pipes. When you remove the cap, you can access the sewer line directly or determine its direction, which can be helpful when you need to locate your sewer line from your house to the street.

Alternative solutions such as baking soda, salt, white vinegar, and/or boiling water can take longer since they are less harsh than liquid drain cleaners.
