I went into the shop to look at some samples, and I didn't find exactly what I wanted. I emailed a picture from online to Ken, who brought similar samples out to my house. I was able to find exactly what I wanted. The product is LVT.. luxury vinyl tile, and it is superb. Everyone thinks it's real ceramic tile. I've had it for 9 months now, in a very high traffic area and it looks as good as it did on day one. The installation was impeccable. Eddie did a fantastic job. I'm amazed at the detail and the precision in places like corners and around molding. He even did some extras without charging, like putting up molding in the bathroom. "We bought floor tile from Home Depot but the installation company they use would not install the tile because of heating vents that had to be removed first. We removed the vents and sent pictures to the installer, but they still would not do the installation. Erick from Floor Coverings International called me and and came to my house that night to look at the floor. He said he had no problem with the vents and would be able to have someone install the tile the next day. They did an excellent job."
