"No rototill, Only did spot reseeding and came in full of weeds.
Came back with weed killer but still does not look good.  Charged original price without doing all the work. and cost more than estimate. We were big fans of Ronaldo but no longer.

"He was very prompt, cleaned up after the job, and the stumps are a distant memory...the mulch was spread to cover the spots! Gave an estimate before the work was started. Sharon G ...we live in a very hilly area as well so the job was more complicated!"

"Jason and his team upgraded and replaced the electrical panels, meter sockets, and most of the outlets at a multi-family property I own. They did incredible, clean, safe work. And even communicated with the tenants! They made everything easy, and the inspection passed with flying colors. Incredible job!"

"Starling was polite and kept me well informed and the team was here earlier than expected. However, the team did a subpar job. Fall cleanup usually means; pickup leaves and yard debris and quickly mow the lawn for the winter. All they did was pick up the leaves. Debris from trees and shrubs were just moved to three different piles and left here. Left our yard items (chairs, small table, etc.) in disarray. Needless to say there was no mowing. Yard obviously looks better without a bunch of leaves, but the work was definitely not complete and I had to do half of it anyway. Will not hire again."

"I reached out to Mario months ago to have some trees taken down and chipped on our property. I ended up deciding to delay the project for a little while and contacted him again, and he was more than happy to come out once again to look at the job as it expanded a little bit, Mario and his crew arrived exactly on time the day the job was to be done. I felt totally comfortable with his crew and their abilities; I left them at the house for the day -they finished up and everything looked absolutely perfect. Mario and his team are true professionals. I would highly recommend them for any tree service large or small. Thank you Mario and Crew!"

"There was a bit of a scheduling issue but after that was resolved everything went smoothly. They trimmed a very large hedge that had gotten out of control. They also did a spring clean up of leaves pinecones and debris all around my house. I was very happy and I will hire them again!"

"Roberto and his crew did an outstanding job! We usually do all of our hedge abs shrub trimming ourselves, but with a few other projects going on we hadn’t gotten them all season long and they were seriously overgrown. Since we COULD do it ourselves, we had a limit on what we were willing to pay, so we were getting several quotes … most of which were higher than we had hoped. Roberto worked with us on the pricing, which was good news because now it was off of our plate! His crew was there the early next day … fast, friendly, courteous, conscientious and neat! We are now looking to have Roberto and his crew back to take a few more projects off of our plate too! If you want a great job, at great price, by a great crew … we highly recommend Roberto’s Affordable Lands aping!"

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

For minor unevenness, you don't necessarily need to remove grass before leveling. You can apply a topdressing mixture to fill in low areas and even out the surface. However, for more significant unevenness or deep depressions, it might be necessary to temporarily remove the grass to ensure proper leveling and soil compaction. After filling and leveling, you can replace the grass or consider reseeding the area.

You can choose between weekly leaf removal services throughout the fall or a single cleanup at the end of the season. If you want to maintain a pristine lawn, weekly service is a good idea to keep up with falling leaves. Alternatively, if you prioritize saving money, you can wait until all or most of the trees on your property are bare and pay for a one-time service. In most areas, this is typically in early to mid-November. While a single service is more budget-friendly, your yard will not remain leaf-free for the entire season.

Using a truck to remove a bush falls into the category of “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” While it is possible to use a truck to pull out a bush, if you don’t have the right equipment, if you’re not familiar with attaching things to your vehicle correctly, or if you don’t have enough room, it’s a risky option. To prevent damage to your vehicle, it’s worth using tools made for the job of digging and cutting roots instead.

In most cases, it’s better to remove rocks before adding mulch. Layering the two will restrict drainage and plant health, and can create an unpleasant texture underfoot.

Unless it’s rubber or you need to prune suckers and remove weeds, you shouldn’t need to get rid of the old mulch around your tree. Simply push old mulch a few inches away from the trunk of your tree and then top it off with enough fresh mulch to reach 3 to 4 inches in height.
