This was a major remodel of the entire downstairs of our home with wall removal and wall construction, new windows, doors, new kitchen, installation of hardwood floors throughout the first floor, rebuilding of staircase, hardwood flooring in the upstairs hallway, basement flooring and ceiling. The work exceeded our expectations!! it is absolutely beautiful! Pavlin, the owner, offered excellent suggestions for the remodel. His communication was incredible. "Worked on a project with Dana for two years. First-year did demolition and construction of four bedroom house. With the current supply and labor shortages, the project took longer than projected. Being a smaller contractor Northstar had problems getting and keeping subcontractors consistently. I understood but communication was lacking. The project was completed last summer but a year and a half later Dana has disappeared and drainage issues continue to cause basement leakage. This issue has been brought to his attention many times. Although there have been promises to rectify have not seen Dana at the site since March. I am writing this in September and I am tired of bailing out the basement. He does not answer my phone calls and text messages only get terse responses. I made the mistake of paying him in full with promises of completion of the house and resolution of issues. Similarity this past year I added a garage with Northstar. Again the project was almost completed but since Dana disappeared the final tasks and punch list remains including a leaky roof. Overall quality of work when completed is good and completed at the estimated cost. Dana is easy to work with but I am disappointed that he chose to disappear and stop communicating with me without completing the job. Beware and be sure to get all agreements in writing."

"Hired David Pierre, his crew and sub-contractors to install a new bathroom, remodel an existing bathroom, convert an attic to living space, install spray insulation, and rewire our 180 year old house in Plymouth, Ma. David impressed me with his professionalism and straight-forward approach, and I was not disappointed. Honest and committed to the end. Construction jobs always seem to take longer than expected, and this was true here, as well, but I think it is due to the nature of the business -- coordinating the schedules of several subs and dealing with unanticipated issues, especially when working on an old house. David juggled it all well. His core carpentry crew, Paul and Derek, were skilled, dedicated and responsive to requests. They kept the ball rolling forward. Good quality work at reasonable prices -- it would have cost me substantially more to use one of the larger home remodeling firms and I probably would get far less top-level attention."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."
