We hired North Star Construction to build a large addition and couldnâ t be more pleased with the result. Dana and Derrick were both ultimate professionals and a pleasure to work with. They listened and responded to all our questions and changes promptly. Our project was completed ahead of time and on budget.Top quality work and great customer Service. Derrick, our Project Manager was very attentive and hands on. Would definitely recommend North Star Construction!

Worked on a project with Dana for two years. First-year did demolition and construction of four bedroom house. With the current supply and labor shortages, the project took longer than projected. Being a smaller contractor Northstar had problems getting and keeping subcontractors consistently. I understood but communication was lacking. The project was completed last summer but a year and a half later Dana has disappeared and drainage issues continue to cause basement leakage. This issue has been brought to his attention many times. Although there have been promises to rectify have not seen Dana at the site since March. I am writing this in September and I am tired of bailing out the basement. He does not answer my phone calls and text messages only get terse responses. I made the mistake of paying him in full with promises of completion of the house and resolution of issues. Similarity this past year I added a garage with Northstar. Again the project was almost completed but since Dana disappeared the final tasks and punch list remains including a leaky roof. Overall quality of work when completed is good and completed at the estimated cost. Dana is easy to work with but I am disappointed that he chose to disappear and stop communicating with me without completing the job. Beware and be sure to get all agreements in writing.

Dana Wessell was GREAT to work with. There was a lot of give and take and his expertise, patience, and attention to detail contributed a great deal to the end result which my wife and I were thrilled with. The changes we made along the way added significantly to the cost but his quotes were transparent and fair and we had no surprises in actual costs varying greatly from the quote. Dana never upsold us, he gave us options and costs with no pressure. While I can state all cost changes from the original estimate were changes in scope approved by me, I would like to add that Dana was a pleasure to work with and communicate with. He has a good sense of humor and while he took the quality of his work very seriously, his attitude eliminated as much stress as was possible from taking on such a job.

I was renovating a kitchen that desperately needed an update as it had not been renovated since the 80â s. Dana and his team were excellent in presenting different layouts, all with the cost effectiveness in mind. In the end, I got a design that was far better than I could have anticipated, all the while knowing where I wanted to spend more or less. Now the kitchen is beautiful and laid out with much better functional ease, which is important for a smaller space. Dana was so easy to work with and trust, and as someone who is extremely busy and wanted things moving quickly and efficiently, he was more than accommodating. Great communication too! Thank you for a wonderful design and amazing new kitchen!

They came over and gave me estimate on fixing my outdoor shower door .actually showed me how to fix and didnâ t charge me.so I greatly appreciated co. And will definately give work to in future

Dana and his team installed hardwood floors throughout our second floor, finished a storage room, installed hardwood stairs, new railings, etc. All within budget and approximately a month AHEAD of schedule. The communication and workmanship was superb! We highly recommend Northstar Construction! Many thanks!

Unreliable.

Dana and Northstar went above and beyond! What started out as a small redo ended up being a major remodel. Dana handled it in stride. Often did extra and pointed out cost savings every step of the way. I was totally impressed. Will absolutely use again. Very clean and thorough.

I worked with John from Northstar Construction to design and build a new home in West Falmouth. He did a great job during building of the house, the quality of materials that he used was very good, and he was very helpful during the construction. The house was delivered ahead of schedule and within the agreed budget.
