Step by Step Home Improvement Corp.Geferson was hired to do some general remodeling of a poorly cared for condo unit. Our timing was tight and he was willing to try to finish the job within that timeline when no one else would. He was very responsive to my communications, which was appreciated. The renovation included moving a fusebox and installation of new lights (done by a subcontractor) and a a mix of refreshing and replacing old drywall and trim, including the doors. We had a few closets constructed, floor refinished, and new finishes installed in the bathroom, which we are very happy with. Geferson works with multiple subcontractors, and sometimes there seemed to be some communication gaps regarding what needs to be done. The price was fair and consistent with the price and quality we were looking for. There were a couple of follow up items that needed to be modified (e.g. door that wouldn't close properly), that Geferson was happy to come back and fix. Overall, I would not hesitate to hire Geferson again for a similar type of job in the future.- Andrew P.

The owners are easy to deal with and are prompt in replying to messages, but the work was not worth the monies charged. The quote was the highest among the 3 companies I contacted, but I was okay paying the quoted price because there was hardwood dust around the house and I believed they would do a good job based on the reviews. However, there were many deficiencies in the work. Shelves near the top of the closets and in the kitchen pantry were not cleaned, and the washer/dryer were not even opened during the cleaning. The cleaners completely missed one storage closet and I had to remind them to clean it after they had finished. I had hoped that they would be much more thorough given what they charged.

This is by far the WORST service provider I've EVER dealt with on Angieslist. They cancelled and re-scheduled my appointment 3 times. They could NOT be reached by phone to discuss new times or conditions. I left numerous phone messages that were NEVER returned. I cancelled my appointment and I've YET to receive my money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO-CALLED PROVIDER.

Last week she and her team did a deep cleaning for a 2,600 square foot estate house we are selling and wow! I hired Pessoa Batista Cleaning as a Christmas present for my son to deep clean his apartment. Three young men living together - need I say more? Cida was great! She always responded promptly to my messages and quickly arranged to go to the apartment and give me an estimate. The price was very reasonable as I had checked others in Boston and they were outrageous! I wasn't disappointed. Cida and her crew did an amazing job and spent hours cleaning everything inside and out. My son was very happy with their work and has hired them on a regular basis. Messaging me in a way that was conducive to my schedule and getting time set up to meet with her for the preliminary review and discussion about our house and the services we were looking for. We decided to bring them in for the cleaning and we are NOT disappointed. She and her team came in, made sure they understood our needs and wants and then got right to work. At the end of the day, our house looked AMAZING and we look forward to having them come back on a regular basis to help us keep it that way.
