Small jobs welcome

"I have an extensive experience with Finn's builders (Chris, James, and Kenny) Over the last 3 years they have revamped my ranch style house with innovative ideas, and expert solutions: rebuilding walls and floors of a veranda, redesigning the interior stairs to the basement. They painted and re-organized the garage. They installed Anderson windows in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms They repaired a walking shower, came up with a clever solution for an uncomfortable shower system. Likewise, they installed electrical outlets and lighting in the living rooms and painted 3 rooms with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss. I like their working style and their ingenuity. I rely on their team for keeping my house in shape and my mind at peace. I recommend them without reservation."

"Very well. The job, painting the exterior of my house with some replacement of clapboards, was completed expeditiously by a crew that cleaned up after itself every day. I was most impressed by the prep work -- the scraping of old paint from surfaces -- and how windows, doorknobs and other hardware were protected during the process. Even more, the price quoted and charged was less than that quoted by other contractors."

After calling them, a technician scheduled an appointment to come evaluate my job the next day and  i was given a quote and the following day the sleeper sofa was completely repaired. Woodworking questions, answered by experts

Yes, many repair services include blade sharpening as part of the maintenance package.

Baseboards don’t have to be nailed into studs. However, nailing them into studs adds to their stability. When studs aren’t available, you can secure them with drywall nails directly into the drywall and adhesive. Always aim to nail into studs, especially in high-traffic or impact-prone areas.

Many people, including professionals in the field, use baluster and spindle interchangeably to describe the vertical components of a railing (or technically, a balustrade). However, there are subtle or distinct differences, depending on who you ask. The most common interpretation is that spindles are thin or delicate versions of balusters.

Labor plays a significant role in the installation of butcher block countertops. Depending on who you hire, your location, the customization level of the project, and whether the wood is already finished, you may pay a professional between $10 and $150 per square foot to install a butcher block countertop. On average, expect the per-hour price to run between $60 and $100.

Landscape timbers can last 10 to 20 years in the ground when installed correctly. Pressure-treated timbers will last longer than non-treated ones, as pressure treatment makes the wood more rot-resistant. Wood exposed to high moisture levels or extreme temperature and weather fluctuations may not last as long as wood in drier areas with more consistent weather.
