These folks are awesome. They arrive on time as agreed, their work is very thorough and professional, and they are just nice people. I am very satisfied with their work on both the interior (prepping and painting the kitchen, pantry, laundry room, mud room, and bathroom) and exterior (powerwashing the entire house, and prepping and painting front and side porches).

The Empire Comoany dud an excellent job repairing and replacing siding , sanding, power-washing and painting. Carpentry was done with careful attention to detail. The crew were prompt, friendly and professional. Job site was clean and orderly. The end result for this antique colonial is appealing and attractive. I have no hesitation recommending their work to friends and colleagues. Neighbors have complimented the results!

High recommendations for all aspects of job (complete priming, scraping, wood replacement, painting, repair of exterior of house). The house had not been painted in a long time and it showed it. Bruno, the owner and sometimes crew member, gave a knowledgable assessment of what needed to be done in a walk-around inspection. He wrote out what he would do in a clear contract/proposal and stuck to the contract even though a lot of surprises showed up during the preparation process. The job was complicated by bad weather and rain but it never hindered the process or progress of the job. We also had not made a decision about the final color until the painting began. We never felt pressured to make a decision even when we had changed our minds from our first proposal - multiple colors rather than one. The crew was hard-working, friendly, professional, efficient. They didn't make us feel in the way or uncomfortable doing our activities while they were hard at work. Tireless workers. The price was fair and competitive. When asked, we have told our friends the price and they always said that they thought it would have been more. Excellent materials were used for the project. We have had the house painted before and the Empire Company performed many steps, especially in prep work, that had never been done to or considered for our house before. HIGH recommendation. It had great bones and had only had one elderly owner since it was built — never mortgaged, well-kept, but completely outdated. We were excited to make it ours, but after dealing with multiple contractors who took advantage of us, we were devastated. Then we found Bruno and the Empire team, and everything changed. Bruno and his team of painters and carpenters did a thorough, meticulous, beautiful job of painting the exterior of our paint-challenged house. This team also resolves carpentry problems they discover while they are painting. Bruno acted as a general contractor as well, bringing in competent teams to replace gutters, deal with a failing roof, and address HVAC issues. Everything was done seamlessly and on time! We highly recommend Bruno and his Empire Painting team!

Bruno and his Empire Company team did a beautiful job! My house needed a lot of scraping and prep work since we had waited so long to paint. The crew worked extremely **** ** the cold, early spring days before it was warm enough to paint. We were lucky to have a few warm days and they worked long hours to finish the painting. We switched from blue trim to white so they did 3 coats instead of 2, and 3 coats on our doors too. Bruno is very meticulous about the work and our house looks fabulous! They also replaced a window, patched a hole at the top of our chimney we didn’t know about, and replaced a fascia board and sections of wood moldings where the wood had been wet next to the ground and rotted. Many neighbors have told us the house looks amazing. I highly recommend Empire Company!
