We usually do all of our hedge abs shrub trimming ourselves, but with a few other projects going on we hadn’t gotten them all season long and they were seriously overgrown. Since we COULD do it ourselves, we had a limit on what we were willing to pay, so we were getting several quotes … most of which were higher than we had hoped. Roberto worked with us on the pricing, which was good news because now it was off of our plate! His crew was there the early next day … fast, friendly, courteous, conscientious and neat! We are now looking to have Roberto and his crew back to take a few more projects off of our plate too! "Hugo Soares put in a front walkway and front step. That looks great. It seemed as though it would be good for them to put a walkway in the back and pavers for a patio area. That may look even better. Also, five retaining walls were built. Again, the work is top quality. The laborers were friendly, skilled, and took the time to do the job right and pay attention to detail. The prices were reasonable and provided an excellent value. The company provided guidance and advice before starting any project."

"Buyer Beware! We have used Rudy Juarez at RM Affordable Landscaping in Waltham for a few years and had been satisfied. This Spring one of his employees mistakenly caused irreparable damage to one of the air conditioning units outside requiring us to purchase a new replacement. Rudy recognized his responsibility and was communicative until we reached out to him to work out an equitable solution for us to get paid back for our out of pocket costs (over $2,000). We offered different options to minimize his financial impact-including having him work off the value of what we paid. Despite our outreach, several times over 6 weeks, Rudy went dark without any response to our various texts and calls. We reached out to him again on my wife's phone which he promptly picked up as he did not recognize the number. We scheduled a day for him to come by and discuss and, while he texted us before he came, he did not get out of his car and left after 5 minutes( leaving within the timeframe he said he would be arriving). We asked him to please come back which was about 3 minutes later and he would not. Rudy continues not to respond to any of our outreach. We think that consumers should be aware of this lack of response/accountability and consider whether to hire his company given the risk of not getting reimbursed for any possible damage done to their property."

"I made the big mistake of giving Bento interior work on my house. at first I liked them, but then they caused a major accident with a pipe leak. I forgave them and we continued, only to discover significant problems with shoddy carpentry, unlevel tubs, things not done to code. Clayson was constantly hounding me for payments on incomplete work. I would only trust this company with exterior work, even then you must check everything!!! I've worked with Fernando and Rafael in the past on exterior jobs and patios and they were very easy to work with and professional. This time I hired Clayson for interior work and it was a disaster. It cost me a significant amount of time, money, and labor to fix the problems they left me with with zero apology. Another incident we had was a loose toilet they installed, when I tried to contact the owner to work out a solution, he said "I'm not happy with you and your small complaints". This company lacks the integrity and honesty you'd expect when you're trusting a contractor with your house. What a shame! ***Problems included uneven walls, unlevel tubs, leaky pipes and drains, unsecure toilets, very bad carpentry, loose flooring, code non-compliant electrical work, and shoddy masonry...***"
