I was very happy with Cooling Unlimited’s replacement of my central A/C. From estimate to installation was one month, which included them providing all of the necessary documents and contacts for me to obtain an interest free loan from MassSave. The installers were on time, friendly and very clean. Communication throughout the process was excellent. I’d highly recommend this team.

I had the gas heating installed with them in 2020 but I didn’t know that I needed to get service done everyone. It wasn’t until this year I called but they did not share with me the different contract services they provided during the call which I could have part take. But I still asked them for the service, the technician who came was very kind and was able to answer all my questions and provided good work of the service.

We had an 8am HVAC maintenance scheduled. Took 8am because that's the only one "on time" and all other time slots would just receive a timeframe for arrival. Called them at 8:30am and they told me a new estimate is 10-12. Is this a joke? I have multiple rentals and can't be wasting 3 hours of my day just waiting in the car. Now need to look for a new HVAC company who can arrive on time.

The crew from Cooling Unlimited showed up about 8:45am to replace my existing AC system with a new one, which was about 15 minutes after all the materials were dropped off. They were efficient in their work processes and the whole job was done by 2pm. They were neat, laying down tarps on my wood floors so that they didn't damage them and cleaned up afterwards. Overall, Cooling Unlimited was very competitive with their bid and they completed the job to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend using them for your AC needs.

Service was fine, they were able service the heating and cooling system.

I can't say enough about our recent experience with Cooling Unlimited. From estimation to final punch list, the customer service was excellent. Our project manager, Charlie, was very responsive and the techs who did the install were professional, courteous, and cleaned up meticulously every day. Highly recommended!

Cooling Unlimited took out our very old oil heating system and put in a new gas system. It was about the best experience we’ve ever had with people in the house from start to finish. First, our salesperson Jason answered an endless number of my questions and he gave us a good price. Btw, not the best price we got, but their professionalism and responsiveness helped us decide they were the company to go with. Second, Dennis, rearranged the work schedule to get us in sooner, so that we wouldn’t be without heat when it was too cold. We spoke to several people in the office who were always friendly and quick to get answers for us. Then the guys showed up to take out the old and put in the new. They were a pleasure to have. They worked incredibly hard. They didn’t make a mark anywhere in the house. They took their shoes off when they went around the upper floors checking radiators, which I appreciated. They were friendly and polite and took their work seriously. What’s left to say! Well, one more thing – when the inspector came he told us they had done a first rate job, no cutting corners. It was a great install from start to finish.

Watchout critical safety issue and they never came back to finish the job. Called 4-5 times talked to reception but no response to schedule or prices. I tried via Angieslist messaging too. Technician bypassed high (600psi) and low pressure switches (supply cost $50) safeties to ‘temporarily’ fix (hack) but said to come back once he has the switches ordered. I made a payment as it was insisted upon on the visit although promising to come back. The board got fixed by taking it from my other ac unit.... As a final notice I will call again to give them a last chance otherwise and I will report them to bbb if I don’t hear back by end of this week and get this fixed up by 09-21-2019. Also another oddity, their online work order receipt is also no longer accessible via they invoices provided. I was pleased with their initial responsiveness coming up the next day of my call. But work undone and no more reply leads me to this bad review with a F. I suggest to be careful if you treat with them. I won’t use them again unless they resolve this.

I had a great experience working with Cooling Unlimited. They installed central AC from scratch and also replaced my boiler and H/W heater. They were very professional, well organized and made sure the project went as smoothly as possible. The installers were very courteous and certainly knew what they were doing. The follow-up with MassSave rebates and inspections was also excellent. I would recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs. I worked with Jason on the estimates and paperwork, Mike on the planning, Joe led the boiler work, and sadly I did not catch the name of the lead on the AC work - but he was excellent too. The whole team was amazing.

Complete package provided: Design, Permits, Fees, Rebates, Installation. Removal of window units for donation. Solution: Whole house AC American Standard. Air Handler in attic. Ducts from attic to 2nd floor rooms. Ducts from attic to 1st floor rooms through 2nd floor closets. Compressor outside. Single story family room. Mitsubishi Air Handler inside wall. Installation of Compressor outside. Work Completed - Dec: all hardware installed. Spring: final adjustments and turn on once outside minimum temperature reached. Sales representative was customer focused, answered all of our many questions. Installation team was efficient, courteous, clean, explained what they were doing, and used foot covers when in house. Customer service was responsive and kept us informed. All rebate paperwork was submitted for us. They coordinated Spring turn on.

Excellent experience overall. The gentleman who provided the estimate was prompt for the initial evaluation and provided an estimate in a timely manner. He answered all my questions quickly and correctly as we went through the process of funding and HOA approval. The installation want smoothly and the team got along great with our dog. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to other home owners.

Called this company based on a referral from the gas company AND Angie's list reviews and should have done a better internet search about them before scheduling for an estimate. I had to take time off from work to meet the guy for the estimate as they will not come on a weekend. The guy shows up and is very pleasant but new employee (personally based on his inabilty to answer several of my questions, I'm guessing he is new to HVAC world). We discuss the work I would like to have done and he takes measurements and leaves. A week goes by and I have not recived my estimate so I contact the company and apparently he is out due to a family emergeny and they have no idea when he will be back. They look at his so called notes and cannot provide me with an estimate and tell me they will need to send someone out again to do it. I ask if they can come on a Saturday as I have already taken time off from work once to get the estimate and they tell me they don't work weekends so if I want an estimate I have to take time off again. I totally understand that this guy had a family emergency BUT since the problem was on their end I should not have to take time off a second time, they should accomodate me which clearly they had no interest in doing. I went on line tonight before posting this and am now happy this estimate fell through as I discovered their accrediation from the Better Business Bureau was revoked and their yelp ratings are 2 to 3 stars. Not sure how they rate so well on Angies list.

Planning with rep was done with our input to address challenges of routing ductwork through the house with minimum disruption to the layout of the rooms. Workmanship was done well and resolved early startup issues. System is working as expected and provides desired comfort.

Very thorough assessment of cooling needs and clear proposal. I didn't go with them at the time since I decided to delay project.

Price was reasonable and the guys who installed were very professional. The office handled the rebate forms and all required leg work.

I am very impressed with the entire team and experience working with Cooling Unlimited Inc They came out right away to repair an issue with our heating system, both technicians clearly knew what they were doing, were very nice and did a fantastic job. They were very professional,and showed up as soon as they can since i did not have heat. They were quick to diagnose the issue, and fixed it. Great service.

They are the ones that installed our boiler back in the day. It would have been a plan. They are very good. The price is part of the reason we went with them. It wasn't bad responsiveness, just not as fast as I expected. They are a very good operation. They are very professional, knowledgeable and good prices.

A terrible experience overall! My husband and I could not have had a worse experience with CU. We were given a very reasonable quote and was told it was take four days to complete the job. I knew immediately when did they not show up on the date we had agreed upon that we had made a big mistake. The next day they arrived on time and started the installation - after this is was one issue after the next. To name a few:  Insulation was left all over the floors upstairs from when they cut in the ceiling to install the vents; there was a shop-vac upstairs and in the basement that they could have used to clean up the mess  A portion of our hardwood floor was damaged in one the bedrooms  When the plumber initially came the first week, he left gaping holes on the side of the house and never returned  We were informed that the crew would only need access to the left side of our garage – we came home to find plaster, installation and various other debris all over our belongings located on the right side of the garage; we also found multiple damaged items including: o 3 dining room chairs – all had dings or scratches o A wrapping paper container was completely destroyed o It was obvious that the crew had stepped on our belongings – as evident by their foot prints on our boxes! o Most importantly, no one called to tell us they had damaged our things, they simply left it in the garage for us to find o It took nearly two hours for us to clean the garage  I returned home one night to find my bathroom in disarray – there was plaster, installation and mud on the tile; it was clear someone had actually stepped on our toilet because there was a muddy foot print  Saw dust was all over the hallway and living room from when the hardwood floors were cut for the vents The lack of communication was incomprehensible - there was an entire week where no one showed up or even called. When all was said and done it took FOUR weeks to complete the job. There was a very obvious lack of professionalism and respect by the CU employees when working on our home. My husband and I have been down to CU offices more times than we can count and have asked to be compensated for the damages (they took the chairs to be repaired, but they were returned to us in the same condition) and no one responds to our request. Please don't make the same mistake we did!

Everything was perfect. Don was very informative. Gave me a detailed description on what work would be done and the equipment needed.

I got an estimate for the work very quickly. The work was scheduled immediately in the middle of the summer and the work was done in one day with no issues at all. The old system was removed and the new one installed all in one day. The guys were all very competent and professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Great. Our a/c broke on a Saturday afternoon and Brad at Cooling Unlimited promptly returned our phone call and was able to come out that evening to look at our unit and replace the condenser. They were prompt, helpful, a pleasure to work with, and a life saver that they are available on the weekends!
