"We needed a total audit of our sprinkler system due to landscape construction we had done over the years. Heads needed to be changed and moved and a new water line to one of the zones needed to be replaced. I made an appointment with Luis the owner of Aqua Irrigation who came to the appointment on time and never requested a different time because he was too busy or it didn’t work for him. He said he wants to run the current system to see what exactly was going on with it. I was apprehensive at first because I felt water was just going to flood everything but I understood he needed to know what exactly was going on and what was needed to fix everything. He tested everything and gave me a quote then and there so I didn’t have to wait for it. We set the appointment up for the work to be done and he showed up on time once again. He ran a new water line to one of the zones, changed numerous sprinkler heads that I knew needed replacement, and moved heads to proper locations based on the new changes to the landscape. The price was very reasonable. Someone else I had come to give me an estimate didn’t physically check the system and had told me I’d likely need a total replacement of the system. This obviously would’ve cost us much more. I found Luis to be professional, personable, honest, and knowledgeable. We were very happy with the work and would definitely recommend Aqua Irrigation. "We hired the group to dig up a large area of bamboo and take a tree down. They were the only group I could find that would take on the bamboo removal. A back hoe was used to dig up the bamboo and I think the job was done fairly well. However, The roots were largely not removed so the bamboo came back up in full force after a month. Bamboo is difficult to eradicate, so we expected this. My main complaint is regarding the payment. They did not accept credit cards and although they accepted checks, they would not accept my out of state check. They did not want to wait 2 days for my check to clear. It was suggested that I could pay at Walmart, which I was not willing to do. The final solution, after much discussion was a Venmo payment, not to the company but to a specific person who I never met. I requested a receipt with the company name on it and never received it. I have hired numerous contractors for various reasons over the past 30 years and have never experienced such a problem over payment. This experience was bizarre. I would not hire them again."
