"I am an avowed DIY-er, but I know my limitations ! In our version of "This Old House", our recent purchase of a 1910 home was in desperate need of new windows. The quotation appointment was prompt, on-time, with options offered for different grade of replacements and features. The price seemed fair (not a bargain basement offer, and VERY far from the 'ridiculous' numbers always put out by an un-named famous national chain). The expectations for installation date range were clearly set (as we all know some of the supply chain challenges we are all currently living with). Installation date was arranged, once they had the units from their supplier. Friendly reminder call the day before, crew of 2 showed up exactly on time, and the work was efficiently and professionally executed. 15 replacements completed on 1st day, and 2 more days (per plan) to complete to work for installing 2 brand new openings for 2 additional windows. Only a few days in, so far - but we could NOT be happier. The work was completed with craftsmanship (see below, as a portion of the work was more than just installing replacements)."
"From start to finish, Steve was a dream to work with. First, he educated us on the different kinds of films to put on our new windows. He left us with three different patches of film on our window for a week so we can make a decision based on what kind of light and how it looks with different weather patterns. During the installation process Steve was a professional. Explained the entire process step by step. He was efficient, kind, and informative. His price was fair, his work and performance were off the charts, and above all, he was just a great guy. We are grateful we found him and our new home looks better than before!"
"Windows are high quality replacement windows. I had 14 windows replaced. Workmen knew what they were doing and answered all my questions. I would use them again."
"Working with Kenny was a pleasure!! I received a call/email from Kenny within the first few hours of my request. After discussing the project we set up a consultation. Kenny was informative and knowledgeable. He listened to my needs for the window tinting project, my likes and dislikes, and from there the product was chosen. In less than a week we were able to set a time up for the job and complete the job. I highly recommend Kenny/Pro Tint for any of your windowing tinting projects!! I might add, I NEVER fill out these comments/reviews but this was worth it!!!!!"
"Replaced a cracked window pane. Company was professional and had strong communication and a fair price. Super happy with them! Technician was the NICEST!"

In Fall River, replacing a standard window typically takes a few hours, while restoring or repairing historic windows may require a full day per unit due to specialized techniques. Whole-home window replacement projects often span several days, especially if custom windows are involved. Weather delays are common in coastal MA, so scheduling during milder months can help ensure timely completion of your window service project.
Helpful?
In Fall River, the longevity of a window service or window replacement project depends on selecting materials that resist salt air corrosion and handle frequent coastal storms. For older or historic homes, addressing shifting foundations and ensuring proper flashing are crucial. Additionally, making sure new windows meet MA energy efficiency standards and are expertly sealed helps prevent moisture intrusion and drafts, extending their lifespan in the region’s variable climate.
Helpful?
In Fall River, if you notice fogging between panes, soft or rotting wood, or persistent drafts—especially during nor’easter season—schedule window repair or replacement promptly to avoid further structural damage. Homes near the waterfront are particularly vulnerable to moisture issues. Minor cosmetic flaws or small cracks can often wait, but plan ahead since custom or historic window repairs may have longer lead times in the area.
Helpful?
In Fall River, unexpected costs during window service often arise from uncovering water damage behind siding, repairing structural framing, or dealing with outdated window sizes in historic homes. Homeowners may also encounter expenses for safe removal of lead paint or asbestos in older properties, and additional charges for custom trim to match existing architecture. Upgrading to meet current egress or insulation codes can also add to the project scope.
