"The project went very smoothly from beginning to end—Meeting the team who performed the work, to coming up with a design for the kitchen with a specialist, picking out cabinets, island, hardware, countertops and backsplash. I watched the team work uniformly day in and day out, because not only did I have new cabinets installed, but electrical and plumbing done as well(recessed lighting, pendant lights, all new appliances, and a farmhouse sink). Also, they are accommodating if changes need to be done. They believe the customer is number one! I would highly recommend them for any type of remodel— I’m going to use them for a future project. FYI— there price is very fair and reasonable"

"Anthony called me back the same day I called him, came next day to give the estimate. He was scheduled to do the work Friday early afternoon and did call to tell me he would not make it, and would 7:30 monday morning be fine. I agreed. He came on time, did the work and gave me an invoice for LESS than the quote because it took less time than he thought. I will be having him out next week to change some lighting and plan to have a chandelier installed as well.

"The provider and his assistant arrived a few moments before our scheduled meeting time.  They were professional.  They installed the cabinet.  They offered additional services.  Their fee was acceptable.

"The first time we scheduled for the work to be done, no one showed up at the appointed time, and I consequently wrote a very bad review. Both Jennifer and Brian emailed me and apologized profusely and asked for another chance. They had a new person in the office who did not inform clients of transmission problems that would keep him from work.
We were able to reschedule, and Brian and his assistant did a fine job. The mosquito curtains were new for them, so installation may have taken a bit longer, but they got the job done and done well."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

You don’t need to be an electrician to change a light bulb. You also don’t have to be an electrician to replace a light fixture with another compatible one. But, if you are installing a light fixture for the first time, it’s worth hiring a licensed professional for the job.

While a handyperson may charge a bit less, a qualified professional can make sure everything is up to code and working exactly as it should be. This is especially true for more complicated lighting projects.

A wall-mounting light fitting is called a sconce. Traditionally, sconces were placed along walls in a home to hold candles or torches for lighting. The electrical counterparts with lightbulbs serve an identical purpose, often lighting up hallways. Sconces come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Changing a light fixture mounted on a wall requires the same basic steps as replacing a ceiling light.

When it comes to installing recessed lights in your kitchen, place them over areas where you perform specific tasks. This includes over the countertops, sink, and dishwasher to provide illumination when you’re working in these areas. Make sure to space them 12 inches apart from each other and up to 18 inches away from the cabinets.

Pool light replacements are often more expensive compared to other pool parts, like pump motors, or standard light bulbs for indoor use. The reason for the higher cost is that pool lights are specially designed and made with parts meant to keep swimmers safe. The light fixture and surrounding parts protecting the bulb must be waterproof, tightly sealed, and resistant to extreme temperatures.

Low-voltage landscape lighting costs about $120 per fixture to install. You may need to install a 12-volt transformer, too, to ensure the lighting system runs safely. For a six-fixture low-voltage landscape lighting setup, expect to pay around $1,000. A major reason people choose low-voltage landscape lighting is to reduce the risk of shock, making it safer to operate the outdoor lighting system.
