"They didn't replace the oil cap. The vehicle was driven home, at which time I discovered oil leaking from the engine compartment. I lifted the hood to find oil everywhere you could imagine. I had the car towed back (30 min drive), the said they would clean it and do another oil change. When the car came back the oil may have been changed (no way to know for sure) but nothing was cleaned. I drove the car back a third time and they "cleaned it" again but there wasn't much of a difference. The damage had been done. Now when the car is running (especially now that it is summer) you can smell the oil burning. The serpentine belt is squeaking all of a sudden (cause it's covered in oil stains) and they wouldn't replace it. Not good. I'm sure this has nothing to do with Barry's service in general, just the idiot that worked on my car, but he/she should be fired and the owner should reconsider his management. What was supposed to be a free oil change since I bought this car from them 6 months ago turned into a mess in the engine compartment, a need for a new serpentine belt, and a ****** off customer. Plus, this is my wife's car so that makes it even better. Very disappointed."

Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning is an honest and reputable company, specializing in air duct cleaning business. We always stand behind the jobs we do and guarantee the best quality results for each project. Additional phone numbers - (800) 699-0955, (781) 205-2474 & (978) 965-3474.
"After Lowe's came to clean the dyer vents at my condo building, my dryer was no longer venting. I contacted them and initially they said they would send someone to check the vent. They then called back and said my vent was never clean because it was disconnected and they could not help me. This was strange because the dryer was working fine before they came. Also, in my trash there was foil tape that you would wrap around the vent. This made me think that they did try to clean the vent despite saying they did nothing. I contacted my management company who said there were never any previous issues with my vent. I called Lowe's back and told them this and they still insisted that they never touched it but would check with the technician. I looked into it my self and found that in the section of the vent between the dryer and the ceiling there was a mass of lint the size of a small animal (see the picture). It was so large that moisture from the dryer had also built up and flooded the bottom of the vent hose. The building manager was then able to clear another mass of lint from the section of the vent in the ceiling and the dryer then started venting to the outside. It was never disconnected like Lowe's said. It seems they started cleaning it and just jammed the dust all the way back to the dryer. Why they didn't finish removing it is a mystery. If they ever service my building again, I will refuse."

AIR DUCT WIZARD . . . cleaning of heating and A/C ducts
AIR DUCT WIZARD . . . cleaning of heating and A/C ducts
Some of the best methods professionals use for cleaning air ducts include a rotary brush system or a push-pull vacuum system. A rotary brush will scrub dust and debris loose from the inside walls of your air ducts. Typically, the rotary brush will catch most of the dust, but a vacuum will help remove any remaining loose particles. The push-pull method forces air into the duct from one end, and a vacuum on the other end pulls that air and the dust it loosens.
Although you may only need to clean your air ducts every three years or so, keeping them clean and clear can offer several benefits including:
Improve indoor air quality
Help alleviate allergy symptoms by reducing mold and pollen in the air
Save on energy costs by allowing maximum airflow efficiency
Reduce odor
Prevent mold and mildew
Help extend the life of your HVAC system
Reduce the risk of house fires from dust and debris build up
The cost for air duct cleaning is about $380, on average. However, costs can range between $270 and $500, depending on location, number of vents, duct accessibility, and how much cleaning is required. Additional factors can impact the cost of cleaning your air ducts, such as removing pests, mold and mildew, asbestos, and other unforeseen needs. Any repairs will also add to the cost of the job.
Yes, air duct cleaning can remove mold from HVAC systems. Air duct cleaning pros can use tools and methods like brushes, cleaners, and vacuums to remove mold from air ducts.
