Chimney Pros is a privately owned full service chimney sweeping and repair company servicing the South Shore to Cape Cod in beautiful Massachusetts. Established in 1997, our reliable and experienced chimney sweeps are all certified through the Chimney Safety Institute of America. Active members in both the Massachusetts Chimney Sweep Guild and the National Chimney Sweep Guild, Chimney Pros has the means and the knowledge to not only sweep your chimney, but to also identify problematic areas of your chimney system, and recommend proper repairs and maintenance at reasonable, competitive rates that will give you piece of mind and worry-free use for years to come.

They called back and said that they sent out the quote. Now if they knew where I was to come and do the inspection then they should know where to send the quote or even email it to me. No such luck. I asked for my refund in an instant message and this is the response that I got, "I think you will be happier finding someone else. Your refund is in the mail, Thanks and good luck."
Now I know you have all heard this before. That was Wednesday, with 1st Class mail it should have been here Thursday maybe even Friday for the latest. I even sent him a link with my address to make sure he knew where to send the money. Well, as I expected nothing has arrived.
Now, the frustration with this response is that he did not even try and follow-up to see if I got the quote. I for one one don't think he even sent it. I think you can make some good money just doing inspections. I would have preferred getting the fireplace fixed which probably costs a few thousand but it looks like the customer is never right and I should look somewhere else.
I implore you, no I insist, no no I BEG you do not waste your time and your money using this person. You are not going to get anything done and all you are going to do is lose some money.
I thought I was fair in raising my frustrations and just because of that it seems that people don't want to do business with you. I was not rude or impolite, and only suggested that I did not get the service I was expecting and therefore should be entitled to a refund.
Well I hope you all learn from my experience and rather find someone else to get the work done for you. Hey tries Lowes, they have given me great service on my chimney so far.
