"I recently had an old deck removed and replaced with a stone patio. The portion of my house where the deck previously contacted my house needed replacement shingles. Despite rainy weather conditions the day of the job, Bob was able to get the job done. I would highly recommend him."

Customers say: Quick response

"Andre and his team were extremely polite and professional. I needed the boards on the floor of my deck replaced. They did a wonderful job, above and beyond the scope of the original quote and I couldn't have asked for more or been happier. I'm a senior citizen and once they were finished, they replaced all the furniture back for me. I will definitely call them again and I urge anyone who needs work done to call as well. You certainly won't be sorry."

"Marygrove Awning was very responsive to my first inquiry. It was mid November when I first contacted them and we we had a very tight time frame that the new awning cover needed to be installed. Our awning is over the front of our business and is in a historic district. We could not have the old retractable frame removed and replaced with a newer type. Understandably , the company could not guarantee their work on the existing frame. Not having a guarantee concerned me but under the circumstance we had no choice. The day of installation was bitterly cold and windy. Two workers showed up on time and worked steadily in the bitter cold on a piece of equipment (our old awning frame) they previously had very little if any experience with. I was very impressed with how well they worked. It works beautifully 8 months later and we are pleased. I highly recommend MaryGrove Awning. If you have an old retractable frame like ours this firm is able to step up and take care of the situation. The two guys who worked that very cold rainy day on a very old piece of equipment should be very proud of the job they did.

"I originally asked this company to come out and give me a price on replacing my front walk that was starting to deteriorate. Upon looking at my roof, they asked me a number of questions and it was determined that my roof was the priority. They gave me a price they told me what they would do one over the guarantee and I hired them Their team showed up on time got the work done and the cleanup was amazing I would definitely recommend this company and think you will also be very satisfied with their service I realize initially the work to be done was my walkway, but obviously my roof had a priority"

Patio Covers questions, answered by experts

Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.

Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.

Costs range from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on size, material, and design complexity.

Yes, most awnings include warranties for materials and installation. Confirm terms before purchasing.

The cheapest material for covering a tennis court is rubber or clay. Rubber needs to be installed over a concrete or asphalt base, however, which can make the project more expensive up-front (but cheaper to resurface over time). Clay courts are among the most affordable, but they aren’t the best to play on and require a lot of maintenance.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
