He demonstrated whatever we needed to know, answered post-install questions, etc. Transfer switch and labor included in price. Also installed whole-house surge suppressor and brought several other electrical issues up to code, for added price. Propane supply installation was handled by another company."

There was a technical problem with the engine on the generator itself, which they weren't able to help with, because they weren't licensed to work on the specific brand of generator. That might be something to check on before hiring for this type of job."
