Our home is a 1910 Craftsman with a mix of original southern pine floors and relatively newer (20 year old) oak hardwood planking. All of the flooring was in dire need of refinishing. John and his crew did an amazing job restoring and refinishing our flooring. The attention to detail was impressive, and they even tackled things we didn't expect, like attaching some of our molding that had come unglued (in the past) back to our walls. We felt completely comfortable entrusting all of the details to Design Wood Floors and simply went on vacation, returning a week later to the hardwood floors of our dreams. "I signed a contract on the first week of June to have PIC Home ?Pros? remodel 3 bathrooms. They stayed for a week in the middle of September, and stopped coming, leaving a vanity in one bathroom, and a shower door in another bathroom completely uninstalled. On the last day here, I was told shower door still has not been manufactured yet, but would take a couple of weeks. They told me that it would cost $150 to have them come back to finish installation, even though contract was for them to complete the work. They ignored my emails to them, so after waiting for 3 weeks and receiving response to my email, I called them, and was told that the shower door is not ready, and even though it?s been 4 months since it was supposed to be ordered, there is still no ETA. I asked that they come back to install the vanity, since we still have no sink in one bathroom. I was told that would cost another $650 to come back and install it. They will work until they are paid in full, then abandon you. "
