"Jason and his crew did an awesome job in repair of my driveway! They were all very professional, courteous, hard working and knowledgeable in their jobs. If you’re looking for professionals who take much pride in their work, very neat, very honest, and pleasant to work with, Jason Drew Concrete is your company to call. I can promise that you will be satisfied , and you won’t regret it!!! I’d give them 10* instead of 5. Before you make your decision about concrete work- give them a call. You’ll know you’ve made the right choice just by the first conversation. I will definitely use them in the future, and refer all my friends/ family. Such a good feeling to find good, honest companies in today’s world. Thank you Jason and your crew!"

"Jonathan demoed a 20 year old wooden deck and replaced it with concrete. The job was about 900 sf. He and his crew did a great job - professional, talented and hard working. I got multiple bids and Boyle Brothers was very competitive. They did what they said theyâ d do. Iâ d use them again in a second."

"Gary & his crew were very professional & hard working. My husband & I were thoroughly pleased with all of the services he provided. He was willing to pick up the mulch for us, pull our weeds out of 3 flower beds, pulled the weeds from under our river rocks surrounding the gardens, & pulled up some flower bushes that were damaged from the winter. Nice clean up work & he even hauled off the debri! He’s worth every penny! Other lawn services required a minimum job of $1200 or more but we didn’t need that much work done. I highly recommend Gary’s services & would definitely hire him again in the future. Thanks for being awesome Gary!"

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.
