"Mr . Joe contacted me early on June 25, 2024. I told him what I needed replacing. He said he could come by and look at what needed to be done with my Attic replacement stairs. He called me when he got into the driveway of my home. He looked at the Old Attic ladder & Door that needed replacing. Quoted me a very reasonable price. He said I can replace it for you now. I said great ?. He left and went to the store to buy the replacement ladder and picked up a helper. The job was completed in 2 hours. I was extremely pleased with his work. His helper Lacretia Edwards was also a great helper. They got the job done with no problems. Very professional and I would recommend HANDYMAN SERVICES, Mr. Joe Nichols to anyone needing repairs done. Thank you, Mr. Joe and Lacretia. I can now go into my Attic safely. Linda Giordano"

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

Rates vary by task complexity and time, often providing cost-effective solutions for homeowners.

Hiring a handyperson offers several benefits. They can save you time and hassle by completing tasks you may not have the time or experience to do yourself. A key advantage is ensuring the project is done correctly, which can prevent future issues and save money in the long run. For projects that pose safety risks, hiring an experienced professional is a much safer option. Additionally, handypeople are often more available for smaller jobs that larger contractors may not have the schedule for.

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).

A handyperson can perform a wide variety of home improvement and repair projects. Common jobs include painting, cleaning gutters, assembling new furniture, and replacing fixtures like cabinets or lights. They can also handle more complex tasks such as installing a dishwasher, fixing minor plumbing leaks, refinishing wood floors, and replacing doors. Generally, a handyperson is ideal for any project that does not require a specific license or certification, such as those related to major plumbing, electrical, or structural work, which should be handled by a licensed tradesperson.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.
