"The work started with an advance of $2000 on day 1 and removed the existing driveway. Day 2. started framing the area and in the afternoon, the contractor told that area is more than the actual measured area, I told that you measured and he argued that I increased the area what earlier not told, which was not true. He agreed in the contract that he will cover the additional area of the walkway up to the main door within $9000. After that, he added the additional area with 1500 sqft (Please see his contract). He demanded additional money for the area, which was included in the contract. Further, he brought mesh, which was very thin for the driveway. I told him it should be 1/2 inch thick mesh, and it is not acceptable. Then he asked additional amount. For the mesh. I said I will not pay; you need to do the work as per the contract. He asked for the second payment on day 2 and said he would come back when the bank check was cashed. I gave $2000 more."

"After setting an appointment for peicing wct waited over a month for the appointment only to get a text less than 24 hours before the set time saying it would need recheduling. Was told he would contact me in a Day or two to rechedule. I reitterated how dire the itutoon was but never heard from them again. Just left us wondering and wasted 5 weeks inthe process. Our home is in jeopardy of complete failure. Doors windows, plumbing and electrical are sustining more damage by the day. Th reason given for the "rescheduling" was "they had storms the day before the appointment, but the stronger storms were here by far. Houma didnt get nearly what we did, and wasnt close."

"When we first moved into our home, our backyard was sad and pitiful. The "steps" attached to our back patio door were probably unsafe at best. We contacted DJ Construction thinking we wanted a deck built. Darwin came over and consulted with us and suggested possibly pouring a stamped concrete patio instead. (We NEVER even considered that before) He showed us some ideas and how he could make it work for us and we loved the idea! We also had dogs and it allowed them to keep the space they needed to run around our yard still without a deck taking up space they couldn't be on. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Lol The bonus is we know we have something beautiful and unique to our neighborhood.
