"This is the only company I hire for all of my painting needs. They are professional, clean, timely and a pleasure to work with. Over the last few years, I’ve hired them for many projects, big and small. You will not be disappointed with them."

"We chose Quality Exteriors because they were willing and able to coordinate our roofing, gutter and painting needs. The roof was replaced quickly, workers were professional and cleaned up afterwards. We had a small leak around our chimney after a large storm. Quality Exteriors had workers here the next day to address the problem and we have had no more leaks! The gutters and gutter guards look great and we've had no problems with them. We also had one exterior side of our home painted, the painter was very professional and thorough.
Matt was our point of contact with Quality Exteriors. He was excellent about keeping us posted on where we were in the process, working with our insurance company, and staying on budget. The final price was actually a little lower than the original quote. They were an easy company to work with and we would definitely use them again!

"Mike and his employees were curious and communicated promptly. Mike was honest and quick. He came the same day to give a quote, came back the next day after approval to tape off the walls, then they painted. They were in and out quickly. Would recommend Mike and his guys for anyone's house."

"Impeccable!!!   My husband and I couldn't have been more thrilled with how gorgeous our home was upon completion.  Brandon and his crew worked very hard to make sure everything was done exactly as we wanted it.  All ceilings were painted, brand new crown moldings were intricately painted, wall paper removed and completely prepared and textured 4 complete rooms.  This was a difficult job to complete as I wasn't able to get all of my furniture out of the house; they worked around everything and protected it all.  Without a doubt I would recommend Elite Painting in Shreveport.  Brandon Price stayed in constant contact with my husband and I to make sure everything was completed to out satisfaction.  Very professional in every way!!!"

"Very prompt in getting in touch w/ me to schedule estimate and very pleasant to deal with. He gave a competitive price to conduct repair work I was seeking (as compared to 3 other estimates I've received). At this time, it appears as though a male friend (who had a catastropic construction company in Atlanta, GA for 10 yrs.) will do the work I need to have done (in the aftermath of my house flooding when my washing machine hose bursting while I was on vacation). I would recommend Jesse to others."

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

Hiring a professional wallpaper hanger is usually a worthwhile idea because, while the application of wallpaper itself is easy, getting the finished product to look good is complicated and takes a lot of practice and patience. A professional wallpaper hanger will not only be able to hang your wallpaper seamlessly, but they will also get an even application of wallpaper paste to avoid bubbling and imperfections immediately and over time. Plus, they can provide their professional opinion on whether to remove or wallpaper over an existing layer of wallpaper.

If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If that’s the aesthetic you want, then proceed. But if you want a smoother surface, you should either strip off the existing paint and wallpaper or hang a layer of liner paper before proceeding.

Limewash can be removed from brick, but the method of removal will depend on how long the limewash has been on the brick. If the limewash has fully dried—which happens after about five days—you’ll need to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to remove it. If there are multiple coats of limewash, you may need to apply the acid mixture several times to fully remove it from the brick.

As long as the surface you’re putting the tile on is properly prepped, peel-and-stick backsplashes should stay on and last anywhere from 3 to 5 years. The best way to ensure the tile stays on is to sand down and clean the wall before applying your design.

Removing a wallpaper border requires the same process to remove full walls of wallpaper. Clear the area, spray down the surface with your hot water and vinegar solution or store-bought spray, wait 10 to 15 minutes, then scrape it off with a putty knife. Sometimes, border wallpaper lifts easier than larger sheets, so you can just peel it right off the wall by hand.
