They can’t explain what a small repair is either. Only reason they didn’t get 1 star is because the guy was on time."

"I contacted Bob's plumbing at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, 08/20/18 to check availability to fix the plumbing issues. Frank was the representative who took the call and mentioned he could stop by my house in Harahan in a few hours. This was comforting since I had complete plumbing blockage with a household of a wife and two children, 18 months and 3 y/o. Frank and Matt arrived at 11:00 a.m. on the same day to come to the rescue. They removed the toilet from the floor to diagnose the problem. I thought baby wipes flushed down the toilet could have been the reason for the problem, but lo and behold the "snake" revealed tree roots in the main line was the culprit. The bathroom was a mess from the toilet removal and I was not looking forward to cleaning up the mess. As I walked by the bathroom, I noticed Matt diligently cleaning the floor to make sure the bathroom was in a better condition than before they arrived. Frank informed me that it's possible the roots will come back in the near future and let me know my options. He also offered to share his contacts if necessary. Needless to say, I highly recommend Bob's Plumbing to take care of your plumbing needs."

"Potentially since new ownership has taken over, Surgis is no longer a trustworthy company. They have showed a lack of integrity and professionalism that goes beyond what I have ever experienced with a company. 1. They installed our system and we have spent 15K+ with them over the years. We have always had Surgis upkeep our system and have trusted them to do a good job. 2. We noticed moisture in the attic and asked Surgis to look into it. They improperly diagnosed the issue and the result ended up creating mold around our vents. We payed 1600 in mold remediation and drywall repair. 3. They properly diagnosed the problem and admitted it was not addressed correctly and this should have been caught during the install process. When given the quote for the work, we asked for a price reduction since this was a quality control issue on their end. 4. A manager called us and stated this was a discounted price even though this was not noted on the paperwork. During these conversations, Scott hung up on us.we requested calls from upper management but never received a call back. We really just wanted the issue resolved and decided to proceed to schedule the work with Surgis. 5. When we received the breakdown of the work, we noticed the cost of the vent covers which we already had purchased prior to. We called asked if they could use ours to help reduce price. Instead, they canceled the work and said they would never work on our unit even though we currently have a warranty with them. After calling back to try and get the work scheduled, they stated they no longer had the technical staff to do the job. 6. After getting quotes from other companies, the prices we were getting were significantly less, showing that Surgis lied about a discount or they are just majorly price gouging all customers. We also asked other companies if they would be able to do the work quickly since Surgis made it seem so technical. All other companies told us anyone who installs a system or does duct work needs to know how to do the work we needed or customers would be dealing with the moisture that we found ourselves with. 7. I called Surgis back as a final attempt to get management to work with us and was told we have your information they wouldn’t take any additional information for me. My tone wasn’t heated and I asked the phone rep to please just take the notes and request a call from upper management and she hung up on me. If Surgis was truthful in their reason to cancel the work on our unit, they currently don’t have the staff that has the skills to properly install AC units. If you have Surgis install your unit and find errors, they will not work to resolve the issue and will likely charge you more than necessary for repairs. You would think some upper management would have intervened but that never happened. I get that other staff was probably sick of us calling to talk about our issue, but hanging up on customers is not how to deal with it. If upper management had called, we wouldn’t have needed to keep following up. I cannot warn people enough about this company. Stay away."

"Very disrespectful to your property, he came and got into my tub with his dirty boots when I asked if he could remove them, he told me that this is what he works in and he is unable to do so, does not clean up behind himself after each job also damaged my sliding door screen kicked it and forgot it was closed and stated that he could not fix it did not pay for it or offered to do so I will not recommend this plumber at all. The job he was supposed to do was fix a leaking faucet in my tub which still leaks to this day."

Then he came back the next day first thing Sundayto install the grout around the base of our toilet.. what exceptional service and the price was fantastic! I had been quoted over $1000 by another vendor. I knew that was way too much thank God I went with Vaughns!!!🎉"
